 A New Year's List With a Difference Katie Barker December 29, 2017 As I was praying about the New Year the Lord showed me a vision of people making lists. The people had been prompted by God to make a list and there seemed to be great significance on this task. These were not lists of New Year resolutions but instead were lists of decrees and declarations concerning the year ahead. It was a list of promises and plans from the Lord for each person, cultivated from intimate time with the Lord. The list formed vision that people could contend for and stand in faith to see come to pass.
The Lord showed me these people of God were going through three steps with regard to their list. The first was to seek the Lord and spend time aligning their heart with His and determining what promises and plans the Lord had for them in the coming year. I noticed some items on the list were already known by the people and they wrote these items down quickly. These were promises and plans the Lord had already revealed to them. There were other items on the list though that were only added as they spent time with the Lord. The people were receiving new revelation as they spent time in His presence. The Lord was painting His plans on the hearts and minds of His people. The Lord wants us to earnestly seek Him and the Word of God tells us that He will reward those who do this. Psalm 63:1 (NASB) - O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You. Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. The Lord is encouraging us to enter into prayer with expectancy as He has much to reveal. Psalm 5:3 (NIV) - In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Jeremiah 33:3 (NSAB) - Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. As we spend time in His presence through prayer, worship and reading the Word we will receive revelation which will form the spiritual vision and promise for the coming year. The second step I saw the people do was to ‘make the vision plain’. The people were journaling, drawing and writing in detail the revelation they had been given. As they did this the vision of the plans and promises the Lord had for them became clear in their minds. In the vision the third step was that the people purposed in their heart to pursue the promises the Lord had given them. They were not going to step out in their own strength but they had purposed in their heart to step out on the leading of the Holy Spirit and to position themselves to be ready. They were going to keep the promises and plans at the forefront of their minds and were going to stand in faith to see them fulfilled. They were going to pray in their promises and speak out and decree the word of God over the promises. They purposed to be unwavering in their stand in faith to see these promises fulfilled. We are to stand in faith and prayer for the fulfillment of God’s promises in our lives. Hebrews 10:23 (NSAB) – Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. We are to wage war over the words and promises the Lord gives us. 1 Timothy 1:18 (NSAB) – This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight. There is a supernatural power when we speak and decree God’s Word over our lives. Decreeing Scripture releases God’s purposes into our lives and destroys the plans of the enemy. It causes the truths of the heavenly realm to be manifest into the natural realm. Job 22:28 (NSAB) - You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. God’s word will accomplish His desires and purposes. Isaiah 55:11 (NLT) – It is the same with My word, I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. The Lord wants us to be intentional about the words we speak and realise the power of our words, particularly when our words are in line with His promises. The Lord is inviting you to make a New Year’s list of His promises and plans for you for the year ahead. If you will take up this task it will involve a process in determining the Lord’s plans and promises for you, documenting these to bring clarity and vision to them and then purposing in your heart to pursue items on your New Year list. Blessing will flow as you undertake this task and stand in faith for the promises and plans the Lord reveals. A Fresh Baptism of Fire Unlocked in the Well of the Gospel Lana Vawser December 28, 2017 Over the last little while I have had a word burning in my heart that has really been increasing in intensity. I feel this is a very important word for the body of Christ right now. Then this week I had a dream where the Lord took this fire deeper than before.
There is a fresh baptism of fire, the fire of His presence and His love that has begun in the Church, but is about to increase significantly in intensity and moment that is birthing a SYNERGY of burning Holy Spirit fire with a passion for the Gospel. These baptisms of fire that are taking place now and going to significantly increase across the body of Christ are igniting and going to ignite the FIRE OF EVANGELISM and a deep revelation of the Cross and Resurrection, the beautiful Gospel message within the Church in an explosive way. I saw people within the body of Christ so overwhelmed and burning with the revelation of the Gospel and the fire of His love, the perfect love of Jesus, going into the world sharing the greatest love story ever told, with a completely NEW and FRESH FIRE. These baptisms of fire will so engulf His people in the well of the Gospel as a whole new realm of being re-awed and filled with wonder at the simplicity and profundity of the Gospel. There is a divine re-engagement with the Gospel that will take place in this baptism of Holy Spirit fire. Deep, deep wells of encounter. This synergy of burning Holy Spirit fire for the Gospel I saw was SO powerful, believers were transformed, chains of fear of sharing the Gospel gone, and a new boldness bursting forth within the Church. The fire of His love that consumed God’s people and flowed THROUGH them was so beautiful, transforming, culture and nation changing. The Bride was AWAKE and ALIVE in a way I had never seen. Receive His Heart of Love for Those Who Do Not Yet Know Him The Lord is wanting to release a greater impartation of His heart to the body of Christ for those who do not yet know Him. I saw life changing encounters with Jesus happening all across the world as the Lord began to ignite the fire of His love for those who don’t know Him in significant ways. The fire of His love and revelation of His heart SO POWERFUL in these encounters, it AFFECTED the way the CHURCH WOULD SEE. I saw these powerful encounters taking place and scales of judgement, criticism, accusation falling off many of God’s people and they began to SEE the world and those who do not yet know Him, through HIS EYES. A greater awakening of loving the down and out, the broken, the hurting, seeing them as HE sees in a greater way. Believers all across the earth were being transformed by LOVE and His heart of love for ALL people. I watched as the Church began arising in a whole new revelation of the LOVE of Jesus and LOVING PEOPLE TO LIFE. LOVING people to the One who is the way, the truth, and the life, our beautiful Jesus. I Heard the Holy Spirit Say.. I Am Preparing the Way for the New Day I heard the Holy Spirit say “I am preparing the way for the new day”. Instantly the sense surrounded me of Bob Jones prophetic word on the Billion Soul Harvest. When I asked the Lord how He was preparing the way, I heard Him say “I am bringing a great awakening within the Church to the greatest gift and truth of all…” “For this is how much God loves the world - He gave His one and only Son as a gift, so now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” - (John 3:16 - The Passion Translation) I felt His heart so strongly that He is awakening the Church to the foundational message of the Gospel. An incredible increase in synergy of burning Holy Spirit fire for the PASSION of the Gospel, that WHEREVER His people go day to day, that they are AWAKE more than ever before carrying the reality of eternity, burning with His love, seeing others as He sees them and sharing the good news of Jesus and bringing transformation and reformation. I saw such a shift taking place across the Body of Christ in regards to evangelism, it wasn’t just evangelists receiving an increase of fire and passion for the Gospel, but the Church being awakened and without fear loving people to life and sharing the beauty of the Gospel. Many would no longer be caged in fear of sharing the truth of Jesus, but so on fire with the revelation of the Gospel, that they could not help but speak. The Lord was bringing a great shift in the Church to prepare the body of Christ to carry the huge harvest that is beginning across the earth. Increase in the Burden to Pray for Those Who Do Not Yet Know Jesus These encounters will release burdens and evangelistic awareness. I saw the Spirit of God moving within the body of Christ and increasing the revelation of eternity within the hearts of believers, placing intercessory burdens upon hearts to pray and intercede for those who do not yet know Jesus. These weren’t burdens of fear, but an urgency and intensity. I saw many interceding in deeper ways for those who do not yet know Jesus. Many in the body of Christ have been praying for years for many, and suddenly the burden was suddenly increasing. Others, I saw the Lord suddenly placing burdens on their hearts to pray for people. Others, were having dreams and receiving the heart of the Lord for people and waking up in a deep place of intercession. The common theme in each one, was the Lord was releasing an increase of His heart, and intensity of intercession because MANY OF THESE SEEDS ARE ABOUT TO SPROUT!!! These powerful intercessory burdens were being released, God’s people partnering with them, and I saw many SUDDEN conversions. FISH were JUMPING INTO the boat. The urgency wasn’t a fearful thing, but the encouragement of God that “breakthrough and salvation for many was SO close”. There is a fresh baptism of fire birthing a synergy of burning Holy Spirit fire for a passion for the Gospel upon the Church. Position yourself before Him and ask for it. Cry out for it. Say YES to His invitation, because He wants to increase and release His heart to you to SEE as He sees, to LOVE as He loves and to share the truth of the Gospel wherever you go, the greatest love story the world has ever known. Get ready to see John 3:16 burn within you like you have never known. Ask Him! Ask Him! Ask Him! During a time of prayer, I saw the Father holding a beautiful golden bowl in His hands. He held it out to give to me and I took it. The bowl was filled with the liquid glory of heaven. I lifted it above my head and poured it over myself. I was not only covered by His golden glory, but I felt its glorious, molten fire go deep inside me and fill me in the innermost parts of my soul. In awe and in anticipation, I waited to see what He would do next. It was then I felt a prayer burst forth from my spirit. I prayed with such emotion: "Father, let Your kingdom come in my life; let Your will be done in me. Father, let the government of Your kingdom be established in me." We are now entering a time of unprecedented supernatural war in the heavenlies between the kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness. It is the kingdom of our Father warring against the dark kingdoms on this earth - pulling down strongholds that have plagued the church for centuries. The enemy has attempted to rule over mankind in an effort to thwart the worship of God's creation and suck the life from the church. But he has failed. And now, the King of heaven has entered the realms of earth and has begun a major spiritual war to buckle the gates of this world and establish the government of His kingdom on earth in us. This supernatural war is heightening and the Lord is calling for His watchmen to call on Him to establish His government in themselves. As He is glorified in them, the Light of His kingdom will dawn on the earth and be established on earth as it is in heaven. We, as His bride, will literally be transformed! Through His liquid glory, He will transform His bride into the most breathtaking, captivating bride ever imagined. This glorious, beautiful bride will rise and rule in His power and the world will be amazed. Absolute Love - Absolute Obedience As the Lord's prayer filled my heart, He reminded me of Abraham at Haran. God called Abraham to leave his homeland. He said, "Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you." He told him, "I will bless you... and you will be a blessing to others." He promised Abraham that, "all the families on the earth will be blessed through [him]" (Genesis 12:1-3). Abraham grabbed on to the promises of God for himself and for the generations of mankind who would come after him. He clung to the promises of God and they became a great treasure to him. He valued all that God wanted to establish through him - it became his prime life-objective. He left behind his earthly father's household and what was familiar to him to lay hold of the great promise of God for his life. Think about it: in Abraham's time, there was no email, telephone or even pony express. When he said good bye, it was good-bye. Yet, he forsook everything to establish the government and rule of his heavenly Father in his life and he received the blessing of the glory of heaven, not only for himself, but for the many generations he envisioned would come after him. Abraham loved his heavenly Father and gave his all to seek Him - he clung to Him as a pearl of great price (Matthew 13:46). Abraham heeded his heavenly Father's word with absolute love shown through his absolute obedience to Him (Genesis 22:1-13) and God blessed him with the miraculous. For many of you, God has called you to leave the familiar and join Him in His journey. Like Abraham, you've forsaken the comfort of the familiar to follow Him. The Father is saying now, "Focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us" (Philippians 3:13-14). Forgetting the past means devaluing it and giving it no place in your present or future - giving it no place in your heart or mind. You have chosen your Father and He deserves all of you, every piece of your soul and spirit - all of you entirely. He wants all of you, and what you surrender to Him, He will bless. Let your past have no place in your future; it is of no value, you have to let it go. Let no regret live in the secret place with you and your Bridegroom. It's a part of the old you and is out of place in the new creation the Father has formed in you. It's time now to follow hard after your Beloved and not lose focus from the destined promise of the pearl of great price. This is not the time to regret the past, nor fear the future, but to boldly take hold of God's promises, allowing the Father's unending love to consume you and consume your past. It's Time For years, the Lord has shown Himself to me in a vision on a powerful, white horse, dressed in glorious armor. Each time He would ask me the same question, "Victoria, will you ride with me?" Every time I would answer in desperate anticipation, "Yes, Lord!" He would shake His head and say, "Not now, but soon." I was desperate to be with Him and begged Him to take me. Finally, after many, many years of experiencing this vision, He's said, "Victoria, it's time!" Your Father is saying to you now, "It's your time, My beloved. It is your time to follow Me and enter the wonderment of My kingdom coming to the earth being brought about even now! I have anticipated this time from the beginning and it is finally here. My kingdom will be established on the earth in you. My justice will come to the earth. My fairness will rule the earth through you, My beautiful bride. And, truly, the world will come to My light shining through YOU! Say 'YES!' to ME and ride with ME - MY time is now!" Live in wonder of Your supernatural Father. He will establish His kingdom inside you, and as He does, He will supply all of your needs according to His riches in Glory (Philippians 4:19). For, as it is done in heaven, He will establish it in you here on earth. All that He has in His glorious presence will be available to you. As His kingdom bride, all that He planned for His heavenly home, He will establish in you - you carry the glories of heaven in you when you carry His government and rule. All that He's made available to heaven will be made available to you here on earth as He reveals His kingdom through you and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He has prepared a table before you in the presence of all the darkness of the earth and He will make them watch as you devour the feast set before you. It is a feast of healing, miracles, glorious love and all life's provisions. He wants your eyes wide with wonderment as He shows you how much He has truly loved you - how much He longs to give you. He takes such joy in seeing you amazed by the wonder of His love. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy,” Matthew 2:8-10 (AMP).
This is our Commission! A couple of years ago, God gave me a Word out of Song Of Solomon and said to me, “This is your commission.” “How does the man you love differ from any other, you most beautiful of women? How does the man you love differ from any other, that you should give us this charge?” Song of Solomon 5:9 (CJB) Point them to the King of kings! As I drove back to town tonight, conversing with the LORD, He reminded me of this commission and said, “2018 will be a new beginning and a time that I AM calling My people to let the star of Bethlehem shine through them and draw men and women to the Christ who was born in Bethlehem so many years ago! They must continue to lead those who are seeking THE KING. Until they stand over Him and proclaim “This is He who their soul is seeking!” Until they understand why their Lover differs from all of their other Lovers! Until they point to Him and Him only! They must let the Star of Bethlehem shine through them! This is the year that they will point all who seek Him to the Beautiful King Of Kings!” When jesus was born in that manger he brought heaven to earth! Jesus told His disciples that if you seen Him, that you have seen the Father! He came to be a reflection of who the Father was! Not just in Word but in deed! He demonstrated what and who the Father and His Kingdom was all about! He demonstrated that His Father was all about Love, all about His children being whole and well and all about the glories of His Kingdom! In this since He was a total reflection, pointing depraved man to His glorious heavenly Father! I declare to you today that God is saying “If you do not reflect who I AM this year, you will not be able to be a part of the move of God that is about to hit the earth!” Jesus did not come to condemn and neither have you! “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved,” John 3:17. This was Jesus’ commission, to save the world, not to condemn it! He was focused of pointing people through His words and actions, to the Father! He was going to show them the Glory that the Father had and then asked them to let this glory and word abide in them also! He reflected the Father perfectly, and now He is asking us in this year to reflect the Son and show them, why our Lover is greater than all the other Lovers in the world that vie for their affection and adoration! Let all you do reflect who he is this year! I thought about this the other night as I was laying looking at a mess that I needed to take care of. I thought “Lord, would you approve of that?” He actually said to me “No, it doesn’t reflect Heaven!” He began to show me how King Solomon’s Kingdom reflected heaven so much that it took The queen of Sheba’s breath away! “And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built, And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cup bearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her,” 1 Kings 10:4-5. This year of 2018, God will be calling us up Higher, not so that “OUR MINISTRY CAN PROSPER” but so that, His Kingdom will be seen in the earth through us! He is calling us to higher standards than He ever has before, not so that we won’t go to hell, but so that He can use us as a reflection of His Kingdom, no matter what part of our life it is. He wants us to reflect His Kingdom so much that people will be awed by the very beauty of it! They will want the lover of your Soul, because they can no longer resist Him because of what they have seen Him do in and through you! “Whatsoever thy hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go,” Ecclesiastes 9:10. I heard the LORD say, “This is the year to clean up your messes that you have made through disobedience and negligence and begin to reflect My Kingdom in all areas of your life! Let the Bright and Morning Star shine through you, in all that you do, both in the natural and the Spiritual! Let Your light reflect all of the glories of My Kingdom! Let it point to me as you go on your journey as the Wise Men went until that star rested over the Christ Child! So let the star that is in you shine until it rests and points others to their savor and king! It is time to make My Name famous! Julie Price December 20, 2017 Many have become confused and bewildered by the recent shaking in your lives. You have experienced a stripping, a loss, a turn of events that you didn’t expect, and it has shaken you.
Don’t misunderstand the place you are in. God is realigning your life for the next season. There are things from your former season, that don’t belong in your new one. This has been very painful, but necessary. If you can keep your eyes on Him, you will understand why some things had to happen. This has been a necessary part of your process and preparation for this next season. It’s due season for many of you. It’s God’s appointed time. You have chosen well in this last season, and now you stand on the threshold of a new one. The process has been painful, but God has done more in you than you are even yet to realize. The hand of God is about to move so strongly on your behalf, that many will be won over to the Kingdom simply by the demonstration of His power moving upon you in a fresh new way. Change your clothes! You have been refashioned and made ready. It’s your time to shine! When seasons change in the natural, you dress accordingly, and I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying it’s time for an upgrade. It’s time to dress for the new season. When we crossover from Winter to Spring, you can begin to wear lighter clothing. Typically it’s brighter and more colorful. We don’t have to walk around in heavy sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats, etc. In the same manner, as this new season fully transitions, we should switch out what we will no longer wear. It’s time to pack away the clothing that is no longer appropriate for the new season. It’s time to dress for the change of season. Today, God is saying that some of you need to put your clothes from the old season away. They don’t belong in the new season, and indeed it is a new one. Some of you are still mourning what God has removed for your good in the last season, and God wants you to change your clothes! It’s time to stand up, dust yourself off, and change your clothes. Instead of those grave clothes, dress for the occasion. The Son is shining on you now. The skies are clearing. A fresh wind is blowing. Change your clothes! In fact, don’t just change your clothes, prepare for the new season! Anticipated it! Sow expectation and faith into it by changing out your entire wardrobe. It’s going to stir your faith! It get’s God’s attention when we agree with heaven and cooperate with the changing of the seasons. Some of you were severely wounded in this last season. I can totally relate. However, I refuse to let the enemy win. I have packed up the clothes that will no longer work for me in this new season. I’ve boxed up my grave clothes where I was in mourning. It was hard to part with my favorite sweater, but I gave it up for God. I’m going to celebrate them now, and trust God with my life! He knew what could come with me in this new season and what couldn’t, and now I’m dressed for success! I have put on His love and goodness! I refuse to continue mourning. I’m walking in peace, hope, forgiveness, and love and I will not go back! I have put on the shoes of preparation for the new road before me. Anything that God said can never be again, has been packed up. I’m not even keeping it for the changing of seasons to come. I’m getting rid of them. They are things that God never wants me to wear again. So that means I have to get it out of my house; my being. I’m ready to wear my new attire for the new season. Lets go Church! Cry, kick, and scream if you need to, but it’s time to change your clothes and be willing to part with anything He never wants in your life again. Pack it up, and move it out! Fill your empty closet with the clothing of King, a Priest, a Bride, a Son, a Daughter, a Warrior! Those old clothes don’t fit you anymore! Time for an upgrade! Embrace the shaking! It has been God’s way of making you into everything you were born to be. You’ve been prepared for such a time as this. Step out of the old season, and into the new. Your future will never be found in your past. Shut the door! Nail it shut! Do whatever you have to do, but don’t look back! A brand new season awaits you! Some of you just needed the blinders removed. You needed your perspective changed to realize you don’t live there anymore. He’s moved you into a new season, so go change your clothes! Throw out what He never wants you to wear again. Then spend time with Holy Spirit and allow Him to refill your personal closet with clothes He has tailor-made just for you! FUEL UP! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. 12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.” Ephesians 6:10-18: “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Heaven's Song Victoria Boyson December 11, 2017 Imagine with me a great multitude of people so immense you cannot see the end of it. You find yourself standing in the middle of this glorious, vast assembly, and as you look through the crowd you see that miles before you stands a magnificent throne.
The One sitting on the throne is radiant, with a brilliant, piercing light reflected like the facets of hundreds of gemstones all casting a different hue into the atmosphere. In front of the throne a shiny sea of glass sparkles like crystal. You feel pulses of glory emanating from Him as they flow right through you, becoming more and more substantial. In them you feel glorified life - faith, joy, and love. Surge after surge, they rush through you until you are completely captivated by His presence and your entire physical body is enveloped by His glory. Surrounding the great throne are twenty-four thrones for twenty-four elders wearing lavish crowns on their heads, clothed in white robes that seemed to flow into the river of glory that surges from Him who is seated on the throne. The effect of His glory is obvious on the faces of the elders as His overwhelming presence washes through them. A hush falls over the crowd and you sense a heavy feeling of heightened expectation fill the room as every eye turns to the throne. People listen silently. You hear only the hushed breathing from the crowd. Suddenly, intense thunderclaps fracture the air and lightning bursts out from the throne, pulsating with power. With it come heavy waves of glory that crash against you like a massive swell of energy. You feel as though you are in a giant womb feeling the vibration of your mother's heartbeat pulsating through you. You are shaken to your core again and again as you feel God's heart pounding through you. Slowly in the distance before you, near the throne, you hear a sound rise... a quiet, gentle sound. And as you look intently off in the distance, you realize the sound you hear is ascending from four beings surrounding the throne of God. At the center on each side of the throne stand four living beings - they are frightful and strange in appearance, with eyes all over their bodies. One is like a lion, the second like an ox, the third has the face like a man, and the last is like an eagle in flight (see Revelation 4:7). And the song they sing is heaven's song: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty- the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come. As the living beings worship the Enthroned of heaven, the twenty-four elders, overflowing with love for Him, remove their crowns. Laying them before Him, they fall down and lay prostrate before Him, worshipping Him who lives forever and ever. As they worship Him they proclaim: "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased." -Revelation 4:2-11 NLT While the song builds in intensity, every heart in the room is overwhelmed with emotion as it fills them and each individual joins with the elders as with one voice - filling the atmosphere with passionate praise. Countless numbers stand in this sacred room, each person filled to overflowing with the glory of God. He is saturating every soul, and now all are one with Him and filled with His holy love. As you stand there, in the middle of the awe and majesty, you are filled with such overwhelming love. You struggle and even yearn for a way to express it. You long to give Him your whole heart, keeping nothing from Him, giving Him everything so you can express your love toward Him. To lay at His feet is an expression of honor to display your overwhelming awe and love as your foremost desire. But what do you have to express your love? As you contemplate all of this, you realize you too have a crown of great price. Your crown represents the honor and love your Father has given you - your authority and your relationship with Him. Your worship unfolds as a tender surrender of all you are - your crown you give willingly. And you lay at His feet every honor you've received - that is your privileged worship to Him. To give to Him what is dear to you out of the depth of a heart brimming with affection for Him. In essence, you surrender all you are to Him and say, "Let all that I am praise the Lord" (Psalm 146:1 NLT). The worship He most desires, and what He's worked so hard and sacrificed so much to save, is you. Your love is what He longs for more than anything, because you are worship to Him. He wanted you; He wanted to love you up close. The God of heaven who dwells in glory, who is continually worshipped, reached down and rescued you, called you by His name and clothed you with His glory to make you His own. The fact that He wants you so desperately is reason enough to worship Him every time you take a breath and every morning when you open your eyes. He is with you waiting to share the day with you. This is the One you worship. Your worship is one of the most important activities in heaven and earth; the throngs of heaven await your expression of love for your Beloved. He wants you to know He loves it when you worship Him, even when you just sit and think about Him. And when you speak out the words the Spirit has placed in your heart, you captivate the attention of heaven. All of heaven stops and listens as you declare what they all feel so tenderly; it ignites the praise of heaven. In an uproarious thunder of praise for Him, all of heaven combines with yours, joining in your song. The awesome praise lifts His glory higher and higher as it catapults to the roar of an angel-filled sky. That is the power of your words, dear one. Let nothing stop your song. Heaven is waiting to hear you sing its song, the song of heaven. His Response Now, imagine yourself in an anointed worship service. The band is playing passionate, explosive music. The congregation surrounding you is worshipping and engaging. And you are caught up in the Spirit as you give praise to God. In spirit and in truth you declare His greatness and your love for Him. Why? Because He is worthy! He deserves praise, and you love to show Him that you know He is worthy. You long to give Him the praise due His name. It doesn't matter who's around you or what they are doing, you give Him praise and you don't care what others think. Your only thought is for Him, and nothing will hold you back from flooding heaven with your passionate worship. It doesn't matter what your personal life is like, or what difficulties you're dealing with. You know worship isn't just a response to the blessings God's given you - your love for Him is unconditional regardless of any circumstance in your life. You may feel broken and raw, hurting and desperate, but He is worthy and you love Him. Your hands stretch out toward heaven as far as you can reach them. Waving them like a banner, you practically see Him now on His throne as you sing your song personally to Him; face-to-face, you cry out praise to Him. How do you think He reacts to your praise? He wants you to think about how your love and praise affects Him, because He is indeed soaking it all in. When you worship Him, He closes His eyes slowly, leans His head back, and breathes deeply. He starts to smile and is flooded with emotion at the same time. He is soon overwhelmed and filled with love and gratitude. He reaches His hand to His heart and begins to weep - He is undone. That is what your worship means to Him. As heaven looks on, the Almighty Lord of all is deeply touched by your declaration of love. All in heaven are deeply moved as they watch Him. Silence fills heaven. Then, quietly and respectfully, they begin to join the earth. Singing slowly and very quietly so as not to drown out earth's praise, but with a quiet echoing response, they close their eyes, still listening intently to the earth singing heaven's song. Brimming with emotion, they begin to flow in response to the release in His heart, and they give in to their urge to roar with His praise. Heaven and earth join as one - hearts burning, as their desire for Him heightens. Now no words can comprise their hearts' passion, and a glorious thunderous response in heaven gives way to riotous praise, uncapping the glory-wells of heaven. When His heart is filled with your praise, His glorious presence rushes to you and He grabs your hand as if to say, "Walk with me!" You are both caught up in heaven's song as He unfurls waves of His presence over you again and again. Unraveling your heart, He releases you to enjoy Him. His love melts your pain, drawing you to Himself. He finds you - His beloved lost lamb. Beloved, there are many things you do for God that you may not realize He receives as worship. Your worship is so incredibly precious to Him; He listens and holds each word you speak close to His heart. He loves it so much because it brings you closer to Him, and you are what He wants. "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be his worshipers" (John 4:23 NASB). Jamie Rohrbaugh December 7, 2017 Beloved, the Lord gave me this word out of the book of Esther today, and it’s wrecking me. I’ve been seeing the manifestation of this word already in unprecedented ways for about the last three days, and it’s wrecking me. The word is this: Prepare to receive the generosity of the King!
Specifically, the Lord showed me these three things for you today: 1. YOU HAVE BEEN ASSAULTING THE THRONE OF GOD WITH YOUR PRAYERS, NIGHT AND DAY. You may have thought that the Father did not hear you, but in reality He heard every word. You thought He was not answering; but in reality, He was simply waiting for His own timing. His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are His ways our ways. But, He does have your ultimate best in mind, and He will eventually show you why He waited to answer your prayer. NOW, HOWEVER, YOU HAVE STIRRED HIM SO MUCH THAT HE IS WAITING NO LONGER TO ANSWER. He cannot contain Himself anymore, and He has determined that He will honor you and your prayers–and do so better than you ever imagined. You have been the watchman on the wall mentioned in Isaiah 62:6-7: “I HAVE SET WATCHMEN ON YOUR WALLS, O JERUSALEM; THEY SHALL NEVER HOLD THEIR PEACE DAY OR NIGHT. YOU WHO MAKE MENTION OF THE LORD, DO NOT KEEP SILENT, AND GIVE HIM NO REST TILL HE ESTABLISHES AND TILL HE MAKES JERUSALEM A PRAISE IN THE EARTH.” THE LORD IS NOW HONORING YOUR FAITH. You have agreed with His heart, both for yourself and for the earth. You have been the one He sought for, who would stand in the gap before Him for the land, for people you know, and for His best will for your life Now you will receive your answers out of the generosity of the King. THE GENEROSITY OF THE KING IS COMING TO YOU. As you have prayed and agreed with the Lord’s heart on the earth, you will now see the answers to the prayers you have lifted up before Him. You will see these answers in accordance with the generosity of the King. The book of Esther describes the generosity of the King multiple times: Esther 1:7: “And they served drinks in golden vessels, each vessel being different from the other, with royal wine in abundance, according to the generosity of the king.” Esther 2:17-18: “The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther, for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king.” Esther 5:3: “And the king said to her, ‘What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you–up to half the kingdom!’” Esther 5:6: “At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, ‘What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!’” Esther 7:2: “And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, ‘What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!’” ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE HAD FAITH, YOU HAVE HAD NO IDEA OF THE TRUE GENEROSITY OF THE KING. BUT, NOW YOU WILL. The Lord desires you to look at Him with eyes of expectation. He wants you to see Him as He is: FULL of mercy, goodness, and truth; FULL of abundance; A giving, loving Father … and a doting Bridegroom. And if you will continue to believe Him, you will NOW see your prayers answered in accordance with His true generosity. Isaiah 62:8-9 says: “The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength: ‘Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; and the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored. But those who have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts.’” THE THINGS FOR WHICH YOU HAVE CONTENDED WILL BE MANIFESTED. THE PRAYERS YOU HAVE SOWN WILL REAP A HARVEST. No longer will you see it happen for everyone else only. The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty strength: you who have gathered the harvest through your prayers shall eat the results, and you shall be filled with praise. The Lord has brought back your captivity. Remember the words of Psalm 126, for these are the words you will see manifest: “When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:1-6). 3. BUT IT IS NOT THE TIME TO GIVE UP IN PRAYER. Your prayers are giving God permission to bestow His generosity upon you. So, rather than sitting back and stopping your aggressive prayers, redouble them. Remember that: “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men” (Psalm 115:16). Just as Esther’s banquets of wine became the forum in which she received the requests of her heart, so are your prayers the forum in which you will receive the answers to your desires. Your prayers release God to move in your life, where you have authority. Without your prayers, the gates of your life are closed to God–for He has given the earth to the children of men. So don’t stop praying. Pray now. Pray loudly … and keep praying. And don’t be surprised at His answers, for He is now pouring out from His own generosity–the generosity of the King. "Charlie" - A Reflection of God's Grace and Love Victoria Boyson December 4, 2017 I once met a man named "Charlie." Well, Charlie was not his real name, I only call him that because I never knew his real name. Yet, he has left an indelible imprint on my heart. Charlie was a piece of God's handiwork, made and fashioned in the image of God.
Some men's names ring forever in the history of the world and the names of those men bring to mind pictures of their character. Some names like Shakespeare, Einstein or Rockefeller, of course, conjure up thoughts of good or successful men. On the other hand, some names like Ted Bundy or Al Capone remind us of unhappy events. But some lives are lived and lost leaving behind no legacy; they are lost in time with only a few records to remind us that they lived. They walk through this lonely world without a soul to care for them. No one cares whether they have lived or died. Charlie was a homeless man whose skin was like shoe leather, darkened by the sun. His life's belongings were held simply in an old tattered army bag. I was in my first summer of college and traveling with a music group, performing across the Midwest. The summer had been an eventful, but long one for me, living in a small custom van with the rest of our group. The first time I saw Charlie was on a hot Colorado day in July. He was walking on the highway we were driving on. He was not even thumbing for a ride, just walking with his bag thrown over his shoulder hunched over by the weight of his load. The physical and emotional load he carried was evident to all who saw him that day. What were the cares he carried that day? What were the pains that kept him almost buried under the emotional load of failure or regret? What was it that made him lose hope in himself or humanity? Had he ever married? Did he have any family? Was there a single person in the world who cared about this man? It did not appear to me that anyone cared for this small, insignificant, homeless man, except God of course. God had seen his struggles and wanted desperately to reach him. God cared about this man; God dearly loved him. We had been driving for hours on the seemingly endless highways of Colorado. It was a hot, dry day when we passed Charlie on the highway. My mother wisely told me never to pickup hitchhikers, but I was not driving the van. My friend Ted stopped before any of us could say a contrary word and picked him up. He climbed into the van looking tired and care-worn and sat right next to me. As he sat down I felt instantly that this was to be an assignment for me. God wanted me to reach out to him. I opened my Bible to John 3:16 and asked him if he'd ever heard about Jesus. I read just a few passages and his eyes got big as saucers. Big, bright blue eyes that were full of the wonder of a child. "God made those eyes, and oh, how He loved them," I thought to myself. As I sat there holding my Bible I remembered that I had hidden money in it. I always kept a little savings tucked away. It wasn't much - only two fives - the meager savings of my pinched pennies. Still, the thought sprung to my mind that he needed it more than I. I asked him if he needed any money. But before he could answer, my friend, Ted, screamed at me, "Don't you give him any money!" He went on to give a wretched exhortation of what a low-life, worthless sinner this man was. The memory of it pains me even now. To think of that lonely man being vomited on by my self-righteous friend. Fortunately for Charlie, Ted and I didn't see eye to eye. I gave him half the money anyway. Charlie's big eyes got moist from my little gesture, but again he had to endure another onslaught of religious bluck from Ted. After only a half-hour of this torment, he asked to be dropped off at a truck stop. As quickly as he appeared, he was now gone. As we traveled on to the next town, I received a rather loud and long lecture from Ted. He was sure the man would waste the money I gave him to buy cigarettes or beer. I felt awful - awful for the man and awful for myself. I was only 19 then and was unsure of what the right thing was to do. "Does mercy really triumph over judgment?" I wondered then. My mother had always taught me that God was love and He loved all His creation, especially the lonely and down-trodden. I had seen her live out her faith daily, giving her last dime to those in need who were blessed enough to cross her path. The next day, we met Charlie again on the highway. Ted stopped and jumped out to talk to the man. More self-righteous, religious venom, and indeed, he was smoking a cigarette and blowing the smoke right in Ted's face. For years the event pained me. I wondered what became of Charlie. I prayed for him as often as I thought of him. His loneliness impacted my life. I had known loneliness, but not like the loneliness he was experiencing. Ted convinced me that I had wasted my money, and I felt like a failure. But many years later, during a time of prayer, the Lord gave me a present that, in itself, was well worth the experience. The Lord opened up heaven and showed me Himself with His arms securely wrapped around Charlie. Charlie was in heaven! He was no longer care-worn, but radiant and full of joy - no longer nameless or lonely, but surrounded by the favor of God. As he stood next to Jesus, looking at me with his enormous God-loved eyes, he spoke only two words, "Thank you!" I asked the Lord how he could have found Him through my meager efforts at mercy and Ted's flamboyant attacks? "Well," the Lord replied, "shortly after you left him, he was picked up by another Christian, a man who was well seasoned by loved. He told Charlie about Me. As the man spoke of God's love reaching out to him, Charlie remembered you and your five dollar bill. At that moment he was convinced of My love reaching out to him and he was able to accept Me. Then I was able to take him home with Me." Suddenly, my memories of the event changed from seeing Charlie's blowing smoke in Ted's face as my failure. I saw it now as my five-dollar gift of God's love, and that with every puff of smoke came the thought that there was a young lady who gave him her compassion to blow the smoke of human kindness in the face of harsh, religious prejudice. There is a religious mind set in the church that often sees those who are broken by life's sorrows and sins as though they have brought on the harsh realities of their lives by the way they have chosen to live their lives. And in many respect that is true. We often bring on many of life's trials by the way we have lived our lives. However, none of us deserve God's grace and the Word of God says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). God's forgiveness is a free gift that cost Him everything and He is waiting for us to receive it. And no matter what we have done, it is never too horrible to keep us from the love of God. For the Bible tells us that neither "height, nor depth...will be able to separate us from the love of God." (Romans 8:39). God is abounding in His love for you and He wants you to receive it from Him no matter how you may have been treated by those professing to know Him. If they had truly known Him, they would have loved you. Indeed, you are the very apple of His eye. You are the sole purpose of Christ's death and resurrection. It was for you He died. Please receive His gift of grace and allow Him to forgive you of your past and give you a fresh start for your future. This is what He wants to do for you. Don't deny Him the pleasure of touching your life today and making you brand new! A Season of Secrets and Mysteries Revealed Sylvia Neusch December 2, 2017 I believe we are stepping into a season unlike anything we've seen before, where there will be a great unfolding and revealing of the secrets and mysteries of the Kingdom.
For about two weeks now, a phrase from an older Bethel song by Brian and Jenn Johnson entitled "We Believe" has been running through my head. God often speaks to me through song lyrics and I keep hearing the phrase from this song: "You reveal Your secrets and all Your mysteries, to those who have fallen completely in love with You". God is longing to reveal His secrets and mysteries to those who love Him and seek Him just for who He is. In 2 Chron. 16:9, it says, "For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." These are keys for opening the doors and stepping through into all God has for us in this season. Just today, this scripture from Deut. 29:29 came across my path twice, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law." These words in Deuteronomy are under the old covenant. How much GREATER the inheritance and treasure we possess as the sons and daughters of the Kingdom through Jesus Christ! God desires to reveal His secrets to His sons and daughters who are hungry to experience more. We know from Proverbs 25:2, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, to search out a matter is the glory of kings." There is glory in the concealing and glory in the searching! I hear God speaking and encouraging us, "Don't give up the search! Don't give up the search!" He recently spoke to me from Jer. 29: 13, "You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." God is getting ready to reveal His glory in a great way and His secrets and mysteries we have longed to partake of will be revealed to us as we seek Him with all our hearts. Our God is a REVEALER! He delights in disclosing and revealing His mysteries to us! Below are several scriptures that portray His heart to reveal: (notice the reference numbers) Job 12:22 - He reveals mysteries from the darkness And brings the deep darkness into light. Daniel 2:22 - It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him. Jeremiah 33:3 - Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. I hear the Lord saying, "Get ready to be DAZZLED!" That's not a word I use very often, but it means, "to impress deeply or astonish with delight". In conjunction with this I often envision Lucy, in the C.S. Lewis book, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", walking through the wardrobe into Narnia. Lucy was dazzled! We will be dazzled, too, in the coming days as God displays the secrets of His Kingdom. As our good Father, He delights in watching us find the wonders He has hidden for our discovery. As God reveals His secrets and mysteries we want to handle them as precious treasures to be cherished and stewarded well. Like Jesus told His disciples in Lk. 8:10, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand'". We want His treasured words to go deep within us to produce an abundant crop of righteousness! We want to handle His secrets with the utmost care. Again, get ready to be DAZZLED as we step into a season of secrets and mysteries revealed. Prepare your heart for a time of WONDER and AWE, but also a time to CHERISH and MARVEL with deep reverence the things He reveals. The heavens declare the Glory of God, and you and I will too!
