 Beloved = Be Loved By God! Victoria Boyson September 20, 2019 Father kept saying over and over to me this morning, "You are My BELOVED daughter, in whom I AM well-pleased!" until it sunk deep in as only He can affect me. And as though He were trying to tell me that I didn't yet fully understand the mystery of this word, I saw Jesus right in my face in the Spirit, holding up a sign that read, "BELOVED!" So, I studied it for a while and finally saw it!
If you separate the word BELOVED you get the message He wants you to hear and that is to BE LOVED by HIM! As His beloved daughter, I cannot change the fact that I am beloved by Him, but sometimes I don't feel His love. Indeed, when the accusing voices come demanding perfection, finding nothing but fault to strip you of the certainty of feeling loved by God, they're trying to rob you of God, Himself. It doesn't matter if we are unloveable, because His love is unconditional - there are NO CONDITIONS to His love. So, truly, it's not about feeling loveable, because we could never do enough good to redeem ourselves. It's about the fact that HE IS LOVE DEFINED. GOD IS LOVE and if we deny His love, we deny Him. Because the two cannot be separated - it is Who He is. It is His essence - His being. When Father calls you BELOVED, He is doing more than trying to show you that He loves you. He is trying to get you to allow Him to love you. He wants you to LET YOURSELF BE LOVED BY HIM! A Celebrating Father! Years ago, I had a very intense vision of the Father. He was indescribable in His perfection and beauty, much more than I'd ever imagined Him to be. He was, indeed, LOVE PERSONIFIED. Yet, even saying that does not really convey His character, because our human love, even at it's best, doesn't come close to describing His love. His love is much more than accepting of us, appreciating or tolerating us. His love is a CELEBRATION! When He sees you or even thinks about you, His love explodes in delight! It's no wonder Jesus represented the Father's nature with the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32), because it is much more like that than anything else we've been told. The miracle of our whole life will be that "While we were yet sinners He LOVED US!" (Romans 5:8). Truly, His love is continually pursuing you all day, every day and every minute of every day. Yet, we don't feel it unless we allow ourselves to BE LOVED by Him - we must believe AND receive it for ourselves. It's for YOU; you're NOT excluded. HE WANTS YOU TO BE LOVED BY HIM! Father's Love The closest human example of love I can think of to describe Father God is my mother's father. When he loved you, there was no doubt that you felt loved. His giant blue eyes would light up when he saw you and he would explode with celebration. He was so loud and would pick you up and squeeze you so tight you thought you might burst. He'd twirl you around and then sit you back down on your own two feet, just to stand back and look at you with an expression of celebratory pride. Sometimes I think of him in heaven now with his Heavenly Father and I think they must have so much in common. Heavenly Father has the most amazing, piercing eyes, filled to overflowing with excited celebration when He sees His beloved child. He wants nothing more than to pick you up and squeeze you so tight, dancing with the glee of seeing you. And surely, He too, sits you back down on your own two feet just to stand back and look at who you are, overwhelmed with pride at every thing you do. Every time you wake up, He loves you. When you're exhausted, He loves you. When you're cranky, He loves you. And when you pull yourself back up one more time after you have fallen again, He loves you to tears. In our human relationships, there's a great pain in loving someone who doesn't love themselves. It's even much more painful for God, it hurts Him unbelievably when you won't LET YOURSELF BE LOVED by Him, because, in receiving HIS LOVE, you are truly receiving HIM! Just the Way You Are Several years back, I had a run-in with someone and they hurt me very badly. I felt so unloved, so contemptible and horrid. I thought it would be a long time before I could stop feeling the self-hatred that condemnation can bring. After a difficult night's sleep, I woke up the next morning and before remembrances of the previous day could hit me, I felt Holy Spirit singing to me. I love it when He does that. He was singing a song I'd heard that I liked. It was Just The Way You Are - by Bruno Mars. These words sank deep into my mind, restoring my soul: Oh, her eyes, her eyes make the stars look like they're not shinin'. Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her trying. She's so beautiful and I tell her everyday. Yeah, I know, I know when I compliment her she won't believe me. And it's so, it's so sad to think that she don't see what I see. But every time she asks me "Do I look okay?" I say, When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change 'cause you're amazing. Just the way you are. And when you smile the whole world stops and stares for a while, 'Cause girl you're amazing Just the way you are! I broke down crying before my feet hit the floor. He knew what was needed and His love washed over me. Even if no other human soul in the world loved or approved of me, there was nothing on earth that could measure HIS LOVE, ACCEPTANCE AND CELEBRATION over me! He was loving me and He was accepting me, but because of accusation, condemnation and rejection, I couldn't feel it. I could only see and feel the things said to me by the person who'd hated me so much, yet God's love was fighting for me... I just had to RECEIVE IT!!! Because, BELOVED = BE LOVED!!! It's an order! It's His decree, His edict! People often quote the scripture in (Matthew 5:48), be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect, implying we need to be perfect before we'll be acceptable to God or His love is expressed merely from a position tolerance rather than love. Indeed, in that Scripture, Christ is saying put on MY FATHER'S PERFECT LOVE! He is perfect because He is LOVE and His LOVE is PERFECT and COMPLETE! Human love is fraught with fragile places and collapses at the first sign of pain, but HIS LOVE is perfect. We can only really love perfectly if we accept His perfect, unconditional, revolutionary love for ourselves no matter what others think we deserve! People can devastate your soul, loss can strip you of your equilibrium and failure can leave you disgusted with yourself. None of that changes the FACT that the ALMIGHTY GOD in heaven, who created the universe, the mountains, oceans and deserts, also created YOU! And you absolutely were His GRAND FINALE. He made you to love you. He imagined you and loved you before you were even conceived. ALL OF HEAVEN celebrated with Him the day you were born. They cheered when you took your first steps and rejoiced when you finally turned your eyes to HIM for the first time and the second and third and millionth! A Slanderous Lie! The enemy of your soul wants very much to convince you that God is NOT love or that, if He is, you don't qualify for His love. But no other dreadful lie is more hated by Father than this. Because it is truly the exact opposite, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life, (John. 3:16). King David said, Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. (Psalm 27:10). The world can hate you, your parents can abandon you, but none of that disqualifies you from God's love - it doesn't even come close! Let God love you! Let Him forgive you! Let yourself BE LOVED by Him! Don't deny Him the joy of loving His child, the delight of His heart - His Work of Art. Like a good father loves his child and would be broken hearted to be separated from him; your heavenly Father feels the separation from you intensely. HE WANTS YOU BACK! Maybe you've walked with Him your whole life, BUT HAVE YOU LET HIM LOVE YOU? Lord Jesus stands in front of you right now as you read these printed words and He's crying, begging you to let yourself BE LOVED! Father, pour out your love on this your child, let it wash over them and break off the lies the enemy has sown into their heart and mind. Give them the courage Holy Spirit to receive all the Father's great love for them. Restore them to the palm of His hand! “When a tree is faced with cooler weather, its leaves turn brilliant colors as a sign to let go. The hidden beauty of crimson and scarlet manifest to announce that a new season has settled in. The glorious shades of the colorful leaves are released to survive the harsh weather ahead. Shedding leaves is an act of rest, to conserve water and energy. "In the winds of change, find your rest in Me… "When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm. I will help you out. So don’t be afraid. I will do the impossible and reunite you with those that you love. I have made a path through the sea and a smooth road to travel above the tumultuous water. There will be instant blooms to flourish in the desert and spring waters will flow where there had been none. "I am here. "Quiet your soul, be still and know that I am in control. Trust and rely and on Me. Let Me be your hope and confidence. Blessings will cover every area of your life, like the dew that covers the earth in the early morning. Like a tree planted by soothing water, that sends its shoots out into the stream. In the presence of heat, there will be no fear or worry. Interpretation, Understanding and Timing Daneen Bottler September 6, 2019 When God gives us prophetic dreams and visions, they must be interpreted before they are applied. Whatever dream or vision the Lord gave you, it is now also an invitation to dialogue with Him about it. We see this over and over throughout Scripture. Daniel, David, Amos and Habakkuk, to name a few, became proficient in inquiring of the Lord and waiting for His answer before acting on what they saw or heard.
Remembering that all interpretations comes from the Lord is a key that will cause us to not take it upon ourselves to see something fulfilled in our own strength, or limit what the Lord is releasing. Waiting on the Lord for understanding is also extremely important, especially if there is a warning involved. If you are one that gets warning dreams or visions, don't go around telling everyone and releasing fear into hearts because you do not have the understanding or interpretation. Instead, set your heart to watch and wait on the Lord for the strategic answer of what He's doing and what He wants you release. Not everything that you hear and see from the Lord is supposed to be spoken out loud to others. Oftentimes what the Lord shows you is actually for you to pray into and partner with God in changing the outcome. If you get the go ahead from the Lord to prophesy what He's given you, then start speaking and aligning hearts to the life-giving, strategic answer instead of to fear. Sometimes the timing for the release of a dream/vision/word has not arrived and we must wait on the Lord for the appointed time of the release and not speak until He says so. The right prophetic word spoken at the wrong time is still a wrong word. Be especially aware, when bringing dreams and visions before those in authority, to summarize and bring it with a hopeful and life-giving release, for no matter how negative a thing you see, the Lord's heart is always redemptive and loving in nature and He always has an overcoming strategy because He has already won the victory! Habakkuk 2:1-3 NKJV, "I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: 'Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'" Zechariah 5:2 NKJV, "And he said to me, 'What do you see?' So I answered, 'I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits.'" 2 Samuel 2:1 NKJV, "It happened after this that David inquired of the LORD, saying, 'Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?' And the LORD said to him, 'Go up.' David said, 'Where shall I go up?' And He said, 'To Hebron.'" Daniel 12:8 NKJV, "Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, 'My lord, what shall be the end of these things?'" The Hidden Harvest Sara Whitten September 4, 2019 God has been highlighting the number 614 to me. It would show up repeatedly in unexpected places. As I pressed into it, it started to make more sense, and I think it's a word in season. In Strong's Concordance 614 is correlated with the Greek word "apokruphos" which means "hidden away, secret, stored up." This is the same "hidden" used in Luke 8:17:
"For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open." (Context: Luke 8:16-18, "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.") This is a time in which the hidden is being called out. God is calling out hidden treasures - things He has had in the works even when the time for revelation had not yet come. However, He follows this up with a command to consider carefully and listen! What is He asking us to listen for? He is calling many PEOPLE out of hidding. This caught my attention while reading about David in 1 Samuel 22. During this season, David, though obedient, was in a time of "laying low." No doubt there was fear of Saul and for his future. Nevertheless, God says to him through a prophet during this season of going from stronghold to stronghold, "But the prophet Gad said to David, 'Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah.' So David left and went to the forest of Hereth" (1 Samuel 22:5 NIV). Do not stay in the stronghold. When I hear the word "stronghold," I automatically think of something sinful or a trap from the enemy, but looking into its definition showed even more depth: According to Oxford Dictionary, stronghold means "1. A place that has been fortified so as to protect it against attack. 2. A place where a particular cause or belief is strongly defended or upheld." It's the walls which we have constructed around ourselves to protect against attacks that we worry about or project. This is the place of PERCEIVED SAFETY. God is gently calling us out of the "safe place," not because He wants us to step into danger but because there's actually nothing keeping us in there. When He called David out it was because He had already declared his victory and delivered his enemies into his hands. His safe place had nothing left to be safe from. Come out of the stronghold. The next definition has to do with an incorrect interpretation or belief that is keeping us holed away. God is bringing these things out of hiding and into the light to reveal the harvest that has been waiting on the other side of conquering these false beliefs. This Greek word for hidden (614) is also found in Colossians 2:3. Colossians 2:1-4 is shown for context: "I want you to know how hard I am contending for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally. My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments." These verses speak of treasures and riches that are being uncovered or unhidden, specifically in the form of UNDERSTANDING and WISDOM regarding that which has seemed mysterious in what God has been doing in your life. It also has to do with discernment between God's wisdom and good-sounding counterfeits of the enemy. In Strongs, 614 also correlates with the Hebrew word "asiph," meaning "ingathering" and "harvest." Not only are we going into the fall season--a time in which harvest themes are not difficult to find--we are also going into September, which holds the Jewish new year. This is a powerful time of reaping, gleaning, and gathering up all the Lord has been preparing in His harvest, before starting a new season. During this season, expect to see fruits--expected and unexpected. Also, expect God to reveal more understanding and wisdom about what He has been doing behind the scenes in 2019/5779 to prepare for 2020/5780. Embracing this harvest is going to take listening carefully and coming out of that stronghold or overcoming the walls you've built. So come out from the hidden place and see that He has already conquered worry and given your enemy into your hands.
