It Will Not Be Taken From Her! - Victoria Boyson

It Will Not Be Taken From Her!
Victoria Boyson
July 31, 2017
The Lord spoke to me years ago, "Victoria, you can be a Mary or a Martha, but you can't be both." It took me years before I really knew what He meant by that.

Mary and Martha were two sisters who followed Jesus and were discipled by Him. Jesus was obviously very good friends with both sisters, but Mary seemed to respond to the importance of what He was teaching by giving up all other seemingly important activities to learn at His feet. Martha, her sister, reacted differently. She felt that preparing His meal was more important and was upset by Mary's refusal to help her prepare it. Their struggle created an opportunity for Jesus to give them both instruction on what He truly desired from them.

Mary embraced all that Jesus wanted to give her. She put Jesus and the relationship He offered her ahead of the expectations of society. But Martha, her sister, did not. Indeed, Martha was caught up in maintaining her role as the dutiful, ideal Jewish woman. Not only did she feel strongly about her opinion of the proper role of women in the home, but she demanded that Jesus scold Mary for not doing it with her. He refused (Luke 10:38-40).

"'Martha, Martha,' the Lord answered, 'you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her'" (Luke 10:41-42 NIV).

What?! Did Jesus just say it was more important to sit at His feet and learn from Him than fulfill the traditional role of a woman? Surely, He misunderstood the rules! No, He was very clear; Mary had chosen to become His disciple - it was her choice. Jesus protected Mary's right to choose!

Women have a choice in how they live their lives. We were created for God's pleasure and it gives Him great pleasure to see us walking with Him through this life, enjoying the giftings He's given us. As women, we represent Him well as we follow the leading of His Spirit.

Honestly, I enjoy housework, but it does not define who I am. It is just something I enjoy, like long walks, devouring history and the Word of God. When God told me I could choose either to be Mary or Martha, He was developing in me the recognition of my right to choose and not letting the ideas and ideologies of others dictate my life. He affirmed to me that it was my choice. I could try and measure up to society's idea of what I'm worth OR I could just enjoy Him and become all He's created me to be.

He wants you to choose! Will you follow Him or mankind? So I say to you, sisters and brothers: You can be Mary or you can be Martha, but you can't be both!

Blessed Rather
Like me, Jesus amazed another woman in Luke 11:27-28. She received a compelling challenge from Him when she chose to define her worth through the lives of the children she bore, which was traditionally the gauge of a woman's value in society.

A woman in the crowd called out to Jesus, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you" (vs. 27 NIV). But, He answered back, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it" (vs. 28 NIV).

Jesus was, indeed, revolutionizing the way women thought about their lives. Christ challenged women to reconsider who they were and what they were created for.

Surely, Jesus did not think it was a bad thing to be grateful for the children they had been blessed with when he spoke to the woman the way He did. But His response indicates there was more going on with her comment than what we can read simply. He answered her and said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Again, Jesus tried to redefine her worth and give her a choice. Women at that time were told their only value was in having babies, and so women naturally defined their worth by their children. So many women do that still today. That is what Jesus was trying to get her to correct in her vision of herself. He wanted her to value herself, not by her role as a mother or by the greatness of her children, but by living for Him.

Do Not Grieve the Spirit
Women have been in ministry throughout the centuries to whatever degree they were allowed at the time. Especially during times of revival when the Spirit was poured out, women were used to a much greater degree. But, when the revival died down, they were relocated back to the nursery, kitchen and Sunday school classes.

Historically, we have had to ask ourselves, what contributed to the diminishing effects of the Spirit's presence in revival? Was it our insensitive reinstatement of our own ideological, man-made traditional roles in church OR was it the hurtful process of demoting women that grieved Holy Spirit and ended the revivals?

If, in revival, God's Spirit is manifested and subsequently erases the lines of gender and race, how is it we do not understand that those lines are offensive to our Father? When the Spirit comes, He establishes the order according to heaven's standards. Who are we then to change them back to mankind's standards?

Women were designed to bless God in whatever capacity He calls them to. So, truly, the war between the sexes is really a war between heaven and earth. Ask yourself, who would you like to see win this war?

In Scripture, we find women apostles, prophets, teachers, writers, warriors and even a judge. If God ordained women as spiritual leaders in the old testament with the old covenant, how much more would He be pleased by them now ministering within the established new covenant?

No Apologies
I've heard so many women in ministry say things like, "A man was given my anointing first, but he didn't want it, so it fell to me" - that just doesn't make sense! If God wanted a male to have your anointing, He could surely find another man who would take it. God wanted to give the anointing and calling to you because you were His first choice.

Never apologize for your calling. That's like calling God foolish. Of course He knew you were a woman when He called you, and for that reason you are perfect for the anointing He has for you!

As women, I think we tend to apologize for our giftings and callings because we feel the pressure of a society that has yet to embrace the kingdom of heaven's value system. So, we excuse our ministry, apologizing for our gender. Human nature is just crafty and jealous - men and women alike.

As women who represent our Father God, we have to ask ourselves a question: will we bow to the world or to our God? Will we fear more the chastisement of those who feel women should remain what history has claimed them to be, or become what heaven would like them to become?

The Word of God in Luke 11:36 says, "Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you" (NIV). The body of Christ will not shine with the true light of heaven until we are whole and every part of us is lit up and brightly shining as one.

A Biblical Inheritance
As a woman, there are many man-made beliefs in the church that I would be willing to put up with. But when I see the negative effects on my daughters and how they are effected by the beliefs I accept, I can no longer just put up with things as they are. I must speak out. All these little idiosyncrasies take a toll on relationships, and for what? Just a traditional point of view.

If we hold on to the traditions of man, we are giving our children an inheritance of lies. We are eroding their strength before they can learn to stand and our sons are handed a load too heavy to bear - one they were not created to handle on their own.

However, if we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and embrace the truth in God's Word, we stand together, united in the strength derived from one another.

Look Beyond What You See:
We Are Entering the Days of Our Enemy's Terror!

Victoria Boyson
July 27, 2017

If you want to know your future, watch as the fear rises on your enemies. Through their reactions, you will see that God, Himself, has entered into our midst and will rise and be found in every place on the planet. He will make Himself known in the bars and brothels. He will reveal Himself to Muslims, Buddhists and satanists alike. He will not be boxed, caged or tamed. He will roar over the nations and He will not stop until you feel Him as He wants you to feel Him.

Do you sense the fear of the armies of darkness? Frantically, they try to destroy what God is releasing. Almost screaming, they wail out the destruction of the Lord's people. They are terrified. I've never in my life seen or sensed such fear from the armies of darkness. Truly, our enemies can see and feel something SUPERNATURAL building in the atmosphere and they are terrified.

Our Father has a special surprise for you! It will be much, much more than you could have ever even imagined it would be. I hear you in the Spirit asking God, pleading with God to use you. He is smiling at you with all His love, because He sees you in your future and He sees how effective you will be for His kingdom. It will be much greater than you've expected or even asked Him for. He will release to you flood-waves of His power and miracles to reap a harvest for the kingdom!

God wants to give you a miracle that is so huge and bold and strong that your enemies will fear your God because of how they see Him manifest in your life. Everywhere you go, your God will pour His favor and blessing on you to scatters the darkness and bring in the harvest. Those who watch your life will see Who the one supreme God above all other powers is through the miracles and glory they see in your life. Your enemy's supporters will come over to your side because they will clearly see which is the winning side.

Right now as I write this, there is a large, powerful storm moving all around our property, but it is barely sprinkling where I am. Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "That is what it will be like for MY children. Though the storm of darkness thunders and rolls all around you, it will NOT stop you! It may threaten, but it cannot touch you. It cannot hurt you, because My hand rests on your life and you look to Me for protection. I WOULD NEVER LET YOU DOWN! I will prove My faithfulness to you and your soul will be built up in the HOPE of Me. Truly, I will convince you of My power and love for you and as I do, those around you will see it happen and will also be convinced of Me!"

Right as I finished typing those words, the atmosphere around me got very still and quiet. The storm has passed over me now, but did not touch me.

We are entering the days of our enemy's terror, because the church has awakened and it has beheld a glimpse of the power it possesses THROUGH PRAYER! Indeed, we have felt how we can impact nations through intercession and God has joyfully responded to our pleas for our nation and the nations of the world.

He Is ALL-MIGHTY
As Joshua took over as leader for the tribes of Israel after the death of Moses, he sent spies into the city of Jericho. It was there they met a prostitute named Rahab who revealed to them the impact of the miraculous on those living there. Through her, they discovered the fearful climate that riddled the city.

"I know the Lord has given you this land," she told them. "We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror. For we have heard how the Lord made a dry path for you through the Red Sea when you left Egypt. And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River, whose people you completely destroyed. No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the Lord your God is the SUPREME GOD of the heavens above and the earth below" Joshua 2:9-1.

With mouths gaping open, the world marvels at the acts of God made manifest in our midst! They cannot understand it, and are desperately trying to reason out how it is NOT the effects of our prayers. But truly, they know it cannot be denied that God is moving mountains and nations by the requests of His beloved. It is astonishing to see the enemy's response to simple God-breathed prayer. Whether they believe in Him or not, those caught in darkness are utterly astonished and panic-stricken at their loss of control - they cannot win no matter how hard they try!

Honestly, a great company of those held in darkness do believe in God, His answers to prayer and the power of the church and still are trying everything they can to stop Him. It must make Him laugh. They will not stop what God is doing in the hearts of His people. No, God will have His way and no person or demon will stop Him. For He is ALL-MIGHTY!
God, our Father, will preform such incredible works of His power ALL OVER THE WORLD, because HE LOVES the lost and He is unwilling for them to stay lost! He will reveal His miraculous power THROUGH US, for He wants to show the world HE IS REAL and it is HE who has the power, not His enemies.

I see by the Spirit mountains of arrogance crumbling and those held in its bondage freed from their oppressor. I see the eyes of the lost suddenly opened and, realizing their great need, running to find anyone who could lead them to Jesus.

If you want to know your future, watch as the fear rises on your enemies. Through their reactions, you will see that God, Himself, has entered into our midst and will rise and be found in every place on the planet. He will make Himself known in the bars and brothels, He will reveal Himself to Muslims, Buddhists and satanists alike. He will not be boxed, caged or tamed. He will roar over the nations and He will not stop until you feel Him.

The Lord will roar and consume those wicked things that have tried to hinder His church. He will roar and destroy the oppression that's plagued the governments of this world and He will humble those who've attempted to strip His church of the power to declare His Word! They will know it is Him. There will be NO DOUBT Who is behind all the miraculous deliverance that is literally wiping out years of work the enemy's labored after. Truly, satan will lose some of his greatest workers, for they will turn to the Lord's side and tell us all how truly terrified the enemy is of us.

What a GLORIOUS AGE WE ARE ENTERING INTO! Every kingdom-minded Saint should rejoice every time they watch the news, it is unmistakable evidence of the enemy's fear!

Redemption From Doubt
You don't believe me? Sounds too good to be true, you say! You, the doubter and skeptic, will see HIM move on TV! God is not unaware of the skeptics. No, He will reach into their very heart and reveal Himself to them until they melt under the power of the real knowledge of Him. No, you are not invisible to Him. He sees your struggle to know Him and believe in Him. He sees you lashing out at anyone who has faith, but He also sees your heart and how you use to trust Him when you were a child and He will never forget how you use to think about Him and pray to Him. He wants to return you to that loving relationship He once had with you. He's spared your life so He could turn you back to Himself. And He will.

Falling Fire
Get ready, Saints of God! The fire is about to fall. It is already kindling and awakening His kingdom-partners; those seemingly little saints who know Him in the secret places and have watched as He moved mountains at their request. All of heaven waits with baited breath for their next request. With the giddiness of a child at summer break, heaven is awaiting a prayer from you!

Such unexplainable joy fills heaven. It's impossible to put it into words, such joy that would make a human being burst as millions of saints from the beginning of time ring out the songs of joy over America and the WORLD! No wonder hell is SO SCARED!

The power of redemption, of salvation, of death-destroying LIFE is held in wait to strike at the earth, unraveling all of the enemy's handiwork - releasing your sons and daughters back to you, back to their heavenly Father Who's never let them go.

"As you call Me," says the Father, "I will respond. As you request, I will answer you. As you turn to Me, I will deliver you. Turn to Me and tell Me again that you trust Me, that you love Me, that you are Mine. Believe in ME!"

The Bride of Christ Is Making Herself Ready! - Jo Ellen Stevens

The Bride of Christ Is Making Herself Ready!
Jo Ellen Stevens
July 26, 2017

Revelation 19:6-8 "And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."

A Dream About the Bride Readying Herself
I dreamed all night of many brides who were making themselves ready! Some were old and some were young and I saw a bridegroom waiting for intimacy with this bride. One bride I saw thought that she was too old for this event to take place but she kept preparing for it. I believe God was showing me in this series of dreams that no matter how old you are, intimacy will be the key to "MAKING YOURSELF READY" for what is to come.

Knowing Him Will Be the Key to Entering into Kingdom Business
Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

The word knew as in "knew" Him in v.23 is a Jewish idiom for sexual intercourse. In other words for intimacy. Jesus goes on to tell them that He will say to them I NEVER HAD INTIMACY WITH YOU BUT YOU WERE OPERATING IN SIGNS AND WONDERS. THEREFORE YOU WERE DOING THEM ON YOUR OWN ACCORD. The Lord said to me one day that if there is no intimacy then there is nothing truly birthed in the spirit. True intimacy is what it will take to birth the Kingdom and kingdom works in these days.

The Bridegroom Is Calling Us to Intimacy, It Is the Key of David
Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

The Lord would say ..."My son David was a man after my own heart and He knew how to walk in intimacy with me as he worshiped me out tending his flocks and then when he worshiped me before the ark with all of his might! He knew that when he established the Tabernacle of David, that this worship would cause Israel to win every battle."

"It was the key to opening every door of influence in My Kingdom! It is the precursor to the Solomon generation who will build My kingdom and usher it in! This intimacy will stop the mouth of lions, save you from the flames of the enemy, tear down the buildings of the enemy and build what I am asking you to build! Through it you will come to KNOW ME!

"Through it you will usher heaven to earth and through it you will pour out the healing balm of Gilead to the Nations, but without me you can do nothing! I want to marry My bride in this hour, so that we can rule and reign together in the earth!! So love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind and soul and you shall begin to see the overflow of this intimacy in the earth! You will begin to see the power of the anointing in your life and family and you shall begin to see the Nations come to the brightness of your shining!

"I will have a willing people to love me in the day of My power, not those who are coerced, but it has been My plan all along to have those who My Son can just fellowship with and rule and reign with, for this is what He deserves and I will present this Bride to Him chaste, for all that He suffered! Come to Me in this hour, yes come willingly for then we shall work together hand in hand in My Kingdom!"

You Will Go Out in Joy and Be Led Forth in Peace! - Lana Vawser

You Will Go Out in Joy and Be Led Forth in Peace!
Lana Vawser
July 25, 2017
The Lord has been speaking to me about "pathways" lately and the "pathway" that many are walking and have been walking has been the most intense, fiery, painful, battle filled pathway they have walked for a very long time.

There is also a murderous spirit that has been sent from the enemy to whisper and take parts of what God is saying and "twist it" to bring confusion, lack of direction, fear, intimidation and cause panic and crippling. This murderous spirit is decreeing that the "pathway" before God's people is one full of pain, dread, wounding, loss and darkness in order to move onto the "pathway of promotion, breakthrough and increase" that has been prophesied.

The enemy is attempting to distort what God is saying and it is causing many to feel like they are "losing their footing" because they are not sure what God is saying. Which voice is His? The confusion and swirling in the atmosphere is leaving many of God's people feeling crippled, hindered, despaired or hindered in their moving forward.

I had a vision and I saw the enemy with strategic battle plans and the top of the plans said "ANXIETY AND FEAR". The Lord then spoke to me..

"The very aim of the enemy right now is to STEAL the PEACE of My people and to bring them to a place of such deep anxiety and fear that will cause them to withdraw and not step into the UPGRADE and promotion before them. THIS is the truth....."

Instantly I heard Isaiah 55:12

So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me void (useless, without result),
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
12
“For you will go out [from exile] with joy
And be led forth [by the Lord Himself] with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

The Lord spoke again..

"What I have decreed over this season, what I have decreed over My people, what I have spoken has gone out of My mouth and it will NOT return void and without result. It will accomplish what I desire."

"The enemy is screaming the pathway before My people is CAPTIVITY but the truth is, I am decreeing the pathway before you is a pathway of CELEBRATION."

I felt so strongly and with urgency the Lord needed His people to hear..

"This murderous spirit is whispering to some and shouting to some "You are going INTO CAPTIVITY to then get to BREAKTHROUGH but the truth is, you are not going into CAPTIVITY, you are going INTO CELEBRATION!"

"This is the Joseph season, but not the season of going into CAPTIVITY, it's the season of going into the CELEBRATION of your POSITIONING, PROMOTION and INCREASE!"

Do NOT align yourself with the whispers that are decreeing roadblocks, do NOT align yourself with whispers that are decreeing the path before you will be full of darkness, align yourself with the LIGHT, TRUTH and LIFE of God's Word. Use the Word of God as a hammer! Speak it! Prophesy it! Pray it! Praise God for His truth because the PATHWAY God is decreeing that you will be LED OUT OF CAPTIVITY with JOY! We have been led out of captivity through our salvation, our beautiful Jesus and the price that He paid, we are no longer in captivity. I believe the Lord is decreeing also in this season that God's people are being led OUT OF CAPTIVITY WITH GREAT JOY!

The fight is on for your PEACE. That's the battle! The battle is to keep your peace, stay in the Word and allow the truth of His Word to raise you up in greater discernment to discern the voice of the Lord from the voice of this mocking, mimicking murderous spirit.

God is LEADING YOU OUT! You are going to KNOW PEACE AGAIN! Your peace will be restored and to more than you have ever known before.

A tidal wave of His presence is about to crash in on the people of God releasing JOY JOY JOY JOY and MORE JOY! That's why this murdering spirit (the thief comes to steal kill and destroy John 10:10) is decreeing the pathway will be the greatest battle you have known, the greatest darkness, there will be incredible loss and hardship, another pit season, void of breakthrough to get to your promotion, but God is saying JOY JOY JOY, you will be LED OUT WITH JOY on the pathway into greater increase, favour, breakthrough and upgrade. The pathway will be filled with LIFE (John 10:10) and you will know Him like you have never known Him before.

You will see the reality of Psalm 16:11:

"You make known the path of life in your presence there is FULLNESS OF JOY!"

You will see that...

"You are before Me and beside Me and I will never be shaken" (Psalm 16:8)

"Because you are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience your wrap-around presence every moment. My heart and soul explode with joy - full of glory! Even my body will rest confident and secure." (Psalm 16:8-9 The Passion Translation)

His path will lead you to a PLEASANT PLACE! Trust Him! Align your faith and decree with His Word:

"Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I'm overwhelmed by the privileges that have come with following you, for you have given me the BEST!" (Psalm 16:6 - The Passion Translation)

God is about to GIVE YOU THE BEST!!!!

"You just watch and see what I am about to do!!"

Calling Forth the Bride!

7/24/2017

Calling Forth the Bride!
Angie Stolba
July 24, 2017

Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love. | Song of Songs 2:4

Recently, while in worship, the Lord gave me a picture of Jesus and I dancing together. Jesus was overjoyed, and I was overwhelmed by His great love and adoration for me. Then, the picture suddenly changed, and we went from dancing together to standing on a shore.

Together, hand and hand, we began to walk out into the deep waters. I saw joy in Jesus’ eyes, even as we left the shore. Though I did not know where He was leading me, I was completely unafraid; I knew that my Savior was by my side, holding my hand. It was then that I knew what the Lord was showing me: It is more safe to be in the deep waters with Jesus than to remain on the shore—confined to our comfort zone—without Him.

The Lord is Calling Forth His Bride to a Greater Season of Intimacy

As I have been pondering on what the Lord has shown me, I sense that He is not only speaking to me through these pictures, but to the Bride of Christ in her completeness.

I hear the Lord saying, “My Bride, I am calling you forth to arise from your slumber and enter into a time of intimacy with your Bridegroom. Let go of the distractions that so easily entangle you, and come away with Me.”

“Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me” (Song of Songs 2:10-13).

Just as I could feel Jesus’ absolute pleasure over me as we were dancing together, I believe that the Lord wants to reveal to His Bride that same pleasure that He has for her. I believe that the Lord is showing me the heart of love that He extends towards His Bride.

Song of Songs 4:7 says, “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.” This verse so clearly illustrates how your Bridegroom—Jesus Christ—sees you. You have no spot or blemish in His eyes, and He says that you are altogether lovely. Wow! How He is ravished by us! Even in our weakness, this is how the Lord sees us.

I believe that the Lord is wanting His Bride to come into the full revelation of the depth of His great love for her. As it says in Zephaniah 3:17, in His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Do you realize that the God who created the universe sings over you? He is the One who designed the mountains and crafted the seas, and He is the same Lord who was, who is, and who is to come.

And this same God delights in you.

What an amazing and intimate love that your Bridegroom has for you, His Beloved. Regardless of the season of circumstances that you are facing, His love for you is fierce, steady, unchanging.

I sense that the Lord is awakening weary hearts back to life. Those who have been hard pressed on every side, listen closely: the King is singing His love song over you. His beautiful love is healing hearts, awakening them once again. As we spend time in the secret place, cultivating our intimacy with our Bridegroom, we will truly discover that He, alone, is all that we need.

Walking out into the Deep
It is in the place of abiding in intimacy with the Lord that He will reveal His strategies for breakthrough in our lives. As we take time to be with Him and align our will with His, our God will show us the answers and solutions.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).

The Bride of Christ will receive deeper revelation, as He will release the very blueprints of heaven into your spirit. The Lord will show you the steps that you need to take in order to walk into the greatness that He has prepared for you. Just as I had pictured Jesus and I walking into the deep waters without fear, I sense that we as the Bride are about to walk out into the deep unknown with Him. In this season of transition and change, Jesus is beckoning us to leave our comfort zones and, hand in hand, walk out in faith with Him.

The Lord continues to remind me, “Where I lead is the safest and best place to be.” Even as Abraham was told by the Lord to leave what was comfortable and familiar and go to the land that the Lord would reveal to Him, we as the Bride are being called to trust in the guidance of our Bridegroom. Do not fear, for Christ will be faithful, as you obey Him and follow where He leads you.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land-like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise (Hebrews 11:8-11).

There are exciting adventures and surprises in store, as you continue to follow the Lord’s leading! “‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Awakening to the Fullness of Our Identity
The Lord is rooting out His Bride’s deep fears and insecurities: the very things that have been strongholds in people’s live. Indeed, He is ridding her of any entanglements that have been holding her back. Jesus Christ is jealous for His Bride, and He is bringing her into a new-found place of freedom that she has not previously known or experienced before! Hindrances are being removed, and grave clothes are coming off. Look and see! The beautifully adorned Bride of Christ is arising and coming forth victoriously!

I believe that the Lord is saying,
“For far too long, the enemy has kept My Bride living beneath her true potential. But now, she will arise and come forth as the beautiful, overcoming, fearless warrior that I have designed her to be. My Bride is the head, and not the tail; she is above, and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13).”

“It is Time to Unsheathe Your Sword!”
He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,
in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me into a polished arrow
and concealed me in his quiver (Isaiah 49:2)

“My Bride, it is time to arise and unsheathe your sword! You will rise from the very circumstances where the enemy had sought to keep you trapped in defeat. Now, you will come forth, wielding your sword of victory. My Bride is not defeated; she is an overcomer, and I have given her the spirit of a warrior. She will slay giants, and she will take back the ruins of former generations (Isaiah 61:4).

“My Beloved, I am giving you all the spoils; I will give you riches and treasures stored in secret places (Isaiah 45:3). You shall fling wide the ancient doors that have been previously closed off. You will set the captives free, and bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1).

“The enemy has tried to plague My Bride with fear and insecurity, in hopes of slowing her down. But do not fear, because he knows that when My Bride comes into the reality of who she in Me, she will be fearless and unstoppable! Even now, her praise will torment the enemy.

“I am now calling forth the Bride of Christ! I am awakening her to the fullness of her identity in Me. She is My radiant, overcoming, warrior-Bride, and she will be a force to be reckoned with.”

I see the glorious Bride of Christ, beautifully arrayed in all of her splendor. She will be found coming up out of the wilderness, leaning on her Beloved (Song of Songs 8:5).

Your wilderness season has not been in vain; it has prepared you for the victory you shall now walk in. It is time to eat the fruits of your harvest!

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you” (Isaiah 60:1).

Breaking the Cycle of Self-Defense!

Breaking the Cycle of Self-Defense!
Tricia Hanks
July 22, 2017

It is a natural response to want to defend yourself. I don’t mean physically, like from a shark attack (good luck with that), or with a shield and sword. I’m talking about defending your character, your reputation, your religion, your political ideology, your sense of direction.

Each of us likes being right. We can even prove we’re right.
Sometimes we are right and the person we are defending ourselves to is also right. In those cases, we – of course- are more right.

Defense is Created by Offense
To have a defense, there must be an offense. The offense is looking to invade your homeland and score some proverbial points. You, are trying to defend yourself against this offense. Therefore, defense is created by offense. Now don’t get lost here. This is kinda like, “I think, therefore I am.”
Defense is created by offense.

Defense occurs when there is a need for it…which is when someone, something, whatever, is on the offense.

If this were football, it would be pretty straight forward: the offense takes the ball down the field and attempts to score, the defense tries to keep the offensive team from being successful and regain possession of the ball.

Every now and then we aren’t actually defending ourselves though…sometimes we are just plain ole arguing. The only arguing in football would be whether to run the Chicken Little Flea Flicker on three, or just drop back and throw up a Hail Mary (football move…not a Catholic reference).

If you are an arguer, don’t you just hate those people who won’t argue back? Good grief! They are the worst. How dare they just sit there! That’s not right. That’s not fair. Don’t they understand the universal rules of human conversational conflict?

Wait…they probably don’t argue because they know you are right! Yep. That’s it.

You are right.

Touchdown!

You win.

Addicted to Arguing
So, is there a difference between defending and arguing. Maybe. Depends on how it’s used. You can defend yourself with an argument based on evidence and sound logical reasoning. I was about half a step away from becoming a lawyer, so I can play with words all day, but there is no need for that.

My point today is – it doesn’t matter.

The life of a Christian is not played out in the court room or on a sports field. We don’t have to run around defending ourselves; trying to prove we are right. The Great Commission compels us to tell the world of the Gospel and of Jesus Christ. We need not defend ourselves for it.

I see too much of that going on today. Too much arguing back and forth with each other over religion, scriptures, point of view.

Social media is full of groups, sites, pages, feeds, whatever, where people have just become addicted to arguing with each other. Instead of being a forum for growth and sound Biblical learning, many of these avenues on social media are just the opposite. Many people on these Christian sites cannot wait to pounce on any post and nitpick the most ridiculous things. Then they just sit and wait for someone else to comment so they can go back and reply. And reply. And reply.

For what? Is someone somewhere keeping a score card of all the “points” you’ve made each time you hit reply? What are you going to do with that score card? Can you cash it in when you get to Heaven for a Premium-Grade Gold Street specially laid for you to walk on instead of just those regular old streets of gold?

I’m not talking about teaching someone the Word. That is not what I see happening. I see people spending countless hours arguing.

Arguing for the sake of arguing.

Wanting to be right.

Looking to score points.

Consequences of Negative Cycles
Some incredibly negative things can happen when you allow yourself to become involved in these cycles of defense and argument.

First of all, and most importantly, you are not putting God first. Now that may seem like a strange thing for me to say. You are defending your religion, your point of view on scripture, etc. So, you feel like you are putting God first. You just spent three hours arguing about God…how is that not putting Him first?

Anything that takes away from your time with God, is not putting Him first.

All that time you spent scoring points is time you could have spent in prayer, study, worship, or fulfilling the Great Commission. You just robbed yourself of valuable, intimate time with God or time you could have been sharing the Gospel. Again, let me be clear, there is a difference between Biblical learning and the negative cycle I’m talking about here.

Something else that all this bickering brings to my mind, is how is this possibly Christian behavior? We are to build each other up and love one another. I understand how a saved person could be misled or not be in the right Spirit, but just take a look at the letter Paul wrote to the Thessalonians. Love is at the forefront. Paul even admonishes them to seek to lead a quiet life and mind their own business, (1 Thessalonians 4:11). He goes further and tells them to comfort those who are discouraged, help those who are weak, be patient with each other, and live in peace, (1 Thessalonians 5). Wasting your time trying to score points is not doing any of the things Paul encouraged the Thessalonians to do. Your weak brother/sister in Christ needs your love, comfort, and patience to help them grow and learn the Truth.

I can’t find anywhere in scripture where we are to delight in the exalting of our own knowledge above our brother’s.

I believe that is pride. We all know what pride comes before.

What Would Jesus Do?
I, You, We…need to spend our time on more constructive ways to share the Gospel. If you are doubting what I’m talking about right now, let’s use Jesus as an example.

When He was finally arrested, He had all manner of accusations thrown at Him. The books of Matthew, Mark, & Luke show that Jesus said very little during His questioning. The most we are given comes from the book of John. Even as He endured being mocked, spit on, hit, and other physical abuse…He did not defend Himself, and He was right. He was more right than anyone has ever been, but as He tells Pilate, My kingdom is not of this world, (John 18:36). Jesus was fully aware of what was going happen to Him, I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice, (John 18:37).

Brothers and sisters in Christ, the issue is very simple: Jesus didn’t defend Himself or mindlessly argue, and you don’t have to either. Share the Truth with the world. Tell the story of Jesus. But don’t allow yourself to be drawn into a cycle of arguing or defending yourself. Don’t waste your time with that. I know that’s difficult; it’s going against your nature. But strive to be more like Christ.

The Truth speaks for you. Jesus speaks for you.
Spend your time developing an intimate relationship with God, pray, study, worship, and serve.

Stay in the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

Breakthrough the Identity Crisis

7/21/2017

Breakthrough the Identity Crisis
Karen Frith
July 21, 2017

Have you ever felt emotionally scattered and wondered who you were? Like you know who you are of course – but thought at a deeper level. Who am I? What’s my purpose?

Has the past ever tried to side swipe you with its unwelcome memories? Has the finger of shame been pointed at you and what you did in the past? Even the recent past?

Let me tell you. That is not who you are, that is not your identity.

It can feel daunting and painful to leave the familiar behind us. Leaving “Egypt “as it were, with its oppression, slavery, misery, hurts and wounds. That has tried to become our identity with the aim of messing with the purpose and plans that God has for us.

We are afraid of losing our ‘captive identity’, fearful of embracing our ‘slave-free identity’. Hanging on with claws to what we have accepted, to what we have perceived as ‘our normal’. A wilderness and desert season often separates Egypt from the Promised Land, the wheat from the chaff, the past from destiny.

Your addiction, is not who you are. Your fear is not who you are. Your grief and loneliness is not who you are. Your broken heart is not who you are. None of this is your identity. They are emotions, they are cuttingly and absolutely real – but they are not who you are. They do not define you.

This is my story. Who I am now, is not who I was. What I did then, is not what I do now. God is leading me into new paths, and opening exciting (aka scary) doors, changing my heart and refining my character.

Enter in the liar of all liars who wants me – and you – to not know who we are, who questions our worth and our identity. He repeats those familiar words from the Garden of Eden, via the Serpent to Eve “Did God really say?”

Well, yes actually He did! He told me, I am his Masterpiece. That I am his beloved, his Child, the one who before I was formed in the womb – knew me and had a plan for my life, a destiny and a purpose.

The Devil is an inveterate liar. He wants to keep you in a holding pattern, circling the airport in your plane of ‘going nowhere’, not allowing you to land in new territory, into your destiny.

Launching into the unknown is scary. Letting the past go is scary. But your identity is not in the past. It is in God who has called you his Masterpiece and who has pre-ordained for you to do amazing things.

Change is uncomfortable, it is confronting. It may mean having to up sticks and go somewhere new, it may mean changing your lifestyle, ending a relationship that is toxic, saying goodbye to a sphere of ministry. It may mean walking a path alone with God that others do not understand as you prepare for the future. A season that even you or I don’t fully understand and have to take one step at a time.

Your identity is in God.

I came across a drawing I did aged 5 yesterday – I had to laugh as I saw what I’d written: “Karen, I like myself”. I found this powerful as it resonates with the theme of identity and knowing who we are. I am loved by God, I like myself.

As Paul said in Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT)
“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Keep pressing on, even when the Devil tries to confuse you and reminds you of your past – forget the past. When you feel you aren’t there yet – the Words of Paul “I have not achieved it but, I focus on this one thing”

Press on to reach the end of the race!
God finishes what he starts, and he isn’t giving up on you – his Masterpiece! He is adding fresh brush strokes, shading and background day by day.

Philippians 1:6 (NLT)
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

He is your identity.

Time to Speak! - Dannette Garza

Time to Speak!
Dannette Garza
July 19, 2017

Like Esther, who God had chosen for a historical moment of time, you have also been chosen to speak. An anointing of deliverance and authority has been under your tongue, released by the words that you speak.

This is a word for those like Esther, from Father and a release of healing from fear. Be blessed.

“It is a time where fear must bow to my feet. It’s a time to speak. Lay down your worries and surrender control and rest in my unwavering love. Healing waters of my love are pouring into your mind, healing away the fear-filled thoughts. My canopy of protection over you will protect you from all evil. The fear that was squeezing your heart and constricting the oxygen flow is being washed away with the streams of my love. The pressure that was on your shoulders, pushing you down, is being lifted, as the burden is removed.

"You are bold and you laugh at the future without fear. This is your moment to shine, you were chosen for such a time. Like the little spider going up the water spout, deception of fear is being washed out. Like a dam breaking, the water of my spirit held back will be suddenly released. A double portion of Holy Spirit is pouring out, pure love waters washing away the dread and fear. Flushing out with a surge of water, your spiritual pipes are flowing with pure love waters.

"I will raise you up on eagles wings, and carry you until the break of dawn. Lay down and rest in the palm of my hand, I will protect you from all harm. I will rescue you and shield you. As you trust me, you will be like a tree planted by the river streams, with your roots spread out into the waters. You will not be careful in the year of drought or cease to yield your fruit. When the pressure of heat comes, your leaf will always stay green.

"Those who dare attack you, are attacking me. When the wicked come against you, like seeds barely rooted, just sprouted, they will shrivel when I blow upon them and my wind will chase them away. Their words are gaping graves, and their tongues are land mines. Yet as a self-built trap, your enemies will eat the fruit of their own way and be filled to the full with their own destructive fancies.

"Trust me to defend you. I will destroy the lies that were whispered about you, clearing up the misunderstandings and twisted beliefs. Abolishing all shame attached to your name, you will be known by a new name given by me. Even if your lips are trembling, open your mouth and speak. On the other side of this risk is the place of your destiny dreams.

"I have given you power and authority to speak. Like a creative force, your words are anointed to bring change. When you give the command, the life and power of Christ will reach out. Jesus working through you to establish the words that you create. Dwelling in the shelter of the Lord will make your face shine like the sun. Rest in this place, no words can hurt you here, nor will you embrace their sting.

"Royal one, I have given you great favor and called you by your name. I have set a royal crown upon your head. A symbol of authority and decorated with exquisite gems. There is no place that you can fall, that my love will not catch you. Let go and rest in my omnipresence. I am on the throne, the opposition only works to your increase. You can go as high as your heart desires, just don’t look down. Do not fear their faces, for I am with you to deliver you.

"Speak beloved, do not hide your crown, for I will give you favor in the presence of God and man. Let the bricks of tension and fear fall off of your shoulders. Let go and sink into my love. Steady your breathing, inhaling my peace. Shake off the worry, and relax your muscles to trust. Dive into where I send you and leave your concerns behind.

"Fear only has power if you believe it and the opinions of man if you receive it. Who is like the Lord? Who has power over my command? Give me all of your worries and rest in my hand. Enter into the freedom of surrendering control and things will start moving fast.

"On the swift train of glory rising, the pace is up to you. The sooner that you let go and trust, the faster the train will move. You are going higher than you ever have known, it will be a fun-filled ride, your joy will be full. There is a time to remain silent and there is a time to speak. Step forward, Royal One, the time to speak is now. My favor is in your hands, ask your request and it shall be given to you. The time of your promotion has come.”

Victorious Women in Revivals - Victoria Boyson

Victorious Women in Revivals
Victoria Boyson
July 18, 2017

Crowds were astonished during the Welsh revival in 1905 when revivalist Evan Roberts allowed women to lead in the services he held. These women were breaking new ground just by singing and preaching. Even the most reserved persons were captivated by the passion these women had for God. What most people did not know is women had helped birth the revival; alongside Roberts, they labored in prayer to see the manifestation of God's presence.

William J. Seymour, was another who led an army of women in revival, in which both blacks and whites worked together enjoying the presence of the Holy Spirit. In the Spirit's presence, it seemed that discrimination had dissolved between the races. In throngs of hungry, passionate seekers, position and gender prejudices vanished as well. As they did, heaven came down in the little chapel in Los Angeles, CA from 1906-1909 in what is called the Azuza Street Revival.

Men and women from all the ranks of society worshiped joyfully in the old building on Azuza Street. The former stable for horses hosted hundreds of believers who would lay basking in God's presence on the old dirt floor.

Along side each other, they felt His overwhelming presence equally, with no deference made for their gender, race or social standing. By the social standards of their day, they had very little in common except their deeply held passionate hunger for God. Gathered together, they epitomized the kingdom of heaven.

Furthermore, in both the first and second great awakenings, women labored and interceded to bring in the harvest. The Second Great Awakening especially effected the lives of women. The majority of people converted were women who also played a crucial role in the awakening's advancement and direction. Many husbands actually demanded their wives chose between their religious activities and their marriage.

Revivalist Charles Finney recognized the power of women's ministry and knew their role in the revival was crucial. He often called upon women to lead in prayer publicly. He saw that without the role of women, it would have been much harder for the revival's effectiveness to be realized.

The Second Great Awakening (1825-1835) produced many reform movements that continued to develop for centuries to come. Many prominent and well-informed female-lead organizations, responsible for many of the evangelical converts, were birthed through the awakening. These organizations propelled the movement's focus toward social activism and reform. Of these, the American Bible Society and the Temperance Movement were the most well known.

Most notably, the Second Great Awakening birthed the movement for women's rights, as well as the abolitionist movement. These movements were founded on belief in the Word of God - that all men, as well as all women, were created equally by God!

Beguines Women
Even more remarkable, and one of my favorite revival occurrences regarding women, is the account of the Beguines women in the thirteenth century. In the low countries of Northern Europe during the middle ages, marriageable men were scarce, leaving many single women of middle class.

During this time in history, women were allowed only two honorable roles in society in which they could serve God: becoming a nun or running a household as a wife. However, for a young woman wanting to serve God, joining a convent was very expensive and if her family could not afford the dowry the church required, there was no other way for her to serve. That is, until the brave Beguines women broke the mold.

Living alone, these women devoted their lives to prayer and serving the poor. Finally, forming communities of women vowing to live a consecrated life to God, they performed good works and took care of each other.

Their communities flourished as they sought an intimate relationship with God and devoted themselves to religious work. Before long, men as well as women sought out these communities to sit under the powerful teachings of Beguines women, such as Marie of Oignies. A leading teacher of the Beguines movement, Marie of Oignies encountered many visions, experiencing ecstasy (a sudden change in perception due to direct contact with Holy Spirit), and wept uncontrollably as she reflected on the crucifixion of Christ.

The shift toward Christian mysticism, prophesy and visions in the communities, generated a great deal of persecution against them. Marguerite Porete, a French Beguine-mystic, was accused of heresy by the Catholic church and burned at the stake in 1310 in Paris. Her book, The Mirror of Simple Souls, was censured as heresy and, failing to recant its teachings, she was condemned to die.

Unfortunately, their experiences were difficult for society to understand. Thus, they came under heavy religious persecution by the Pope, the bishops and the Inquisition, until their numbers began to wane by the 17th century.

I hear very few people talk much about the Beguines revival during the 1200s - 1600s. Yet, with a focus on intimacy with Jesus Christ, their effect on Belgium, the Netherlands, Northern France and Germany was evident by the wide-spread renewal amongst the middle-class.

For a time, these daring women redefined the role of women in Christian society and developed multiple assemblages with the primary purpose of pursuing Christ. Try as some might to dim the light of the Beguines women, they are even now renown for their genuine and passionate love for their Savior. Building dynamic, life-changing communities, these women became a refuge to any seeker who yearned to know the Christ of the Beguines women.

Harvest of Potential
God did not create you to live in survival mode. He created you with the intention that you would enjoy your life and thrive - living to your fullest potential in Him. That is what He designed you for and it is His delight. He gets great joy in seeing you walk in the fulness of your potential. He enjoys your enjoyment. He has placed deep wells of potential inside you, which He intends to draw it out.

When the Father called you out of your shell to do the greater works (John 14:12) He planned for you to do, He anticipated everything you would need to accomplish His will. It's already inside you waiting to be harvested - to birth your dreams and manifest God's presence.

Just like Adam and Eve were convinced of their failure (Genesis 3:10), we battle the same feelings of inadequacies. Invariably, the lies sown into our roots at the beginning of our lives try desperately to hinder our growth and potential. And just like Adam and Eve, God says to you: "Who told you that you were naked?" (Genesis 3:11 NLT). God sees the lies the enemy has sown in your heart much more clearly than you do, so He calls your attention to it so you can uproot it.

The reality is, there is a war in the heavens over possession of your heart and mind. When you battle with the lies of the enemy, you will begin to see the realization of your potential. It is incredibly vital to heaven and so very necessary to the Earth - you are that important. As you take authority over the lies of the enemy that want to rob you of your confidence, know you are not just wrestling for your own sake, but for the triumph of the kingdom of heaven.

As you stand in confidence to defeat destiny's thief, understand and recognize you stand in the confidence of the entire kingdom of heaven. So, tell that devil he has no chance against you and refuse to give him any place in your life. "Submit yourselves...to God. Resist the devil, and he WILL [literally] FLEE from you" (James 4:7 NIV emphasis mine).

God has placed wells of potential inside of you, and as you draw from it, you bring a great reward to His kingdom. Draw near to Him and He will harvest your potential. Be confident that, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6 NIV).

Psalm 68:11 prophesied the coming of a great army of women who would experience incredible victories for the Kingdom of Christ. God is calling His warrior-women to the frontlines.

Truly, He's prepared you and now He's calling you. He needs you. The harvest is waiting - will you come?

I Am a Piece of Work

I heard the Lord say, "You are a Piece of Work"! I was thinking that it was not really a compliment in the context of how we have heard that term, especially when referring to other people. But in this case, I knew it had a spin on it.

This word was significant to me because I am working on a project for our ladies' room at church. We bought this gorgeous mosaic tile, containing beautiful mother of pearl, marble and ornate nickel pieces, for the restroom, but the installment job has been a very long & slow process, taking much longer than it should. When the contracted help was finally finished, the tiles were left a bit messy, with lots of rough edges, tiles left unclean, and the nickel pieces in the mosaic were almost completely covered in grout.

Being the person I am, I had decided it was best if I just get in there and go to work. I had specifically picked out that tile, and I wanted to show its exquisite delicacy and beauty, I was not about to let it go with its splendor covered and caked in a muddy mess. As I have been spending hours working on cleaning off this tile, washing it, brushing it, and then picking out every single hint of grout, I am reminded that God is doing the same thing to us. He made us and created us to be beautiful masterpieces, and He is not about to let us go unfinished.

In 1988, I had finally surrendered my heart to the Lord after spending most of high school life on drugs and alcohol, and in very complicated relationships.

I came into the church as one big mess. I needed lots of washing, lots of scrubbing and someone to pick out the stuff that had hardened over my heart and life.

It has taken years and years of God's hand, and His people working on me, wiping away layers of grout, brushing out the corners of my heart, and scraping out the little pieces left behind in the nooks and crannies of my life, in order for me to show the true beauty that God intended to display.

As I look back at that season, when I was first saved, I can only imagine what my pastors must have thought, probably something like, "She's a real Piece of Work". (I can joke about that now, because I know I really was!)

God in His Loving Kindness, showed me such Grace & Mercy! He put it on my associate pastors' hearts to take me into their home, to love on me, to show His ways and to work on me, so I could become the woman I am today. I am so thankful for God's hand on my life, how can I resist such Lavish Love?!

We are all a "Piece of Work", like those beautiful tiles, made in the image of God, but the junk that happens to us, tends to cover and harden over the beauty that God has designed. Don't resist the Father's cleaning, brushing and picking.

Everything the Father makes is good. We are His Workmanship, and He simply wants to let the world see His Amazing Piece of Work!

Mary Chatt was born in Fredericksburg, Va. where she was raised in the Catholic religion. After drifting from the church, the world became more and more enticing and she began to attend the party scene. The party lifestyle led not only to alcohol abuse, but also to daily use of other various drugs. At age 17, after much family trauma and a struggle to graduate high school, Mary moved out and ended up in Baltimore, MD. She had heard witnesses testifying about God but the biggest turning point was when a friend who had emerged out of alcoholism and being a call-girl, began to tell her about a place where God was real, and the people were true worshippers. She talked about the Holy Spirit and how you could feel His presence, and that the power of God was there. Mary went to church with her the next day, and at age 18, she received salvation, baptism and was filled with the Holy Spirit all in one day, at the Rock Church of Baltimore. She has been serving Jesus Christ ever since, and is now an ordained minister at the Rock Church of Tarboro, NC. She preaches regularly in the church and walks in the call of deliverance ministry.
