 Break the Chains of the Midianite Cycle - It's Time to Cycle Out of the Wilderness! Sandie Freed March 30, 2017 Have you ever been in a predicament? I know I have. In Judges 6:10 we see the root of a terrible predicament that Israel was in. Actually, it was a destructive seven-year cycle. I have written on this before, but there are some things worth mentioning again! In fact, many of God's prophets are calling for a time of fasting, prayer and crying out to God because we are facing a possible financial crisis (according to several teachers and prophets). I have always believed that God's children will be provided for, however if anyone is in a destructive cycle that keeps re-occurring then you need to read this article! And/or if you want breakthrough then keep reading!
When we first meet Gideon in Judges 6, the Midianites were plundering Israel and this had been going on for seven full years! Each year at harvest time, the Midianites and some other tribes they were aligned with swept through Israel. Their crops were stolen, livestock taken and their homes were destroyed. Times were so difficult that many of the Israelites were living in caves. One of God's prophets sent word to disclose why this was happening again (over and over) to Israel. The word from God was "Also, I said to you, 'I am the LORD your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.' But you have not obeyed My voice." (Judges 6:10). Israel's Patterns Unfortunately, Israel would obey God for a while and experience happiness and prosperity. Then they would become disobedient, which cause them later to experience desperation. The curse of the Midianites was one of these. Gideon was hiding during harvest time, threshing wheat in a winepress, when an angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, "The LORD is with the mighty man of valor!" Now,think about it. Gideon was not acting mighty at the time- yet God saw Him differently. God saw BEYOND Gideon's fear, anxiety and doubt and then prophesied Gideon into a shift! What was the shift? Well, after the divine visitation, Gideon torn down the idols in his family's back yard and rebuilt the altars of God. Then he called warriors together and went on to lead a victorious battle against the very enemy, the Midianites, which he was previously hiding from! The seven year curse cycle was broken! Dear ones, it can be broken off of your lives also! Break the Cycle I want to encourage you to read some of my previous blog posts concerning the Midianite curse and the enemy that steals your breakthrough and harvest. Simply scale down and read the others. You will gain even more insight if you will do so. But for now, I want to encourage you. It is time for you to hear the Word of the Lord concerning your future and destiny. The enemy has attempted to attack your ability to hear the voice of God and believe for breakthrough! Position yourself to hear again. Spend time with God and listen to His voice. This will cause your spirit to shift and then your faith will arise to defeat the destructive cycle of the Midianite curse that devours harvest. Secondly, examine your heart concerning idolatry. I have written numerous books on spiritual idolatry. The Jezebel Yoke is one that I recommend as well as Breaking the Threefold Demonic Cord. Both of those books target issues of idolatry and empower readers to cycle out from its evil grip. Believer, I know it is your season of breakthrough. Favor by those who love and serve Him; disdain by those who doubt or detest or deny Him.
Every year, the most successful holidays celebrated are those which surround His name and life. I’m reminded of the sermon/poem that Dr. James Allen Francis wrote in 1926, “One Solitary Life,” in which he stated that of all the lives that ever lived, no one solitary life has affected mankind as that of Jesus. My heart is personally invested in revering His Name. But there are those who are equally opposed to Him. That, in itself, tells me that He is worthy to follow. If someone draws that much attention, there is an importance beyond what’s natural within them. I’ve studied the Word of God. I have, in particular, immersed myself in studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, in which those first hand witnesses tell the story of the life and times of Jesus. Amazingly, their reports are totally unified. There are those who get angry that there is so much commercialization of the Christian holy days such as Christmas and Easter. There’s no way you can possibly deny that there is something “to” it for it to cause such a ruckus. Why should anyone even care if there was no importance to the man? I personally praise God that those holidays ARE commercialized, as the world itself is paying for and helping to spread the message of Jesus Christ. They may get a few bucks for doing so, but praise God that it’s being done. What do you need Jesus to do for you? Did you ever happen to think of His names? One day while I was at work at PTL, I had to do the morning partners devotional because I was the one who scheduled local pastors to do so, and when they didn’t show up, I had to substitute. I was hurrying to the partners lounge, going past the bookstore, and saw a small postcard in the window that had the names of Jesus on it. I ran in and bought a stack, and hurried up to the meeting room. The Lord had been speaking to me about the names of Jesus, so I used that little postcard and began to share on those names. I gave one out to each person who came. The bottom line of it is that the Lord began to help me explain that, everything Jesus is, He called us to be so that He could do it through us. One of the most touching things the Lord showed me was regarding the story of rambunctious Peter. In Matthew 14:22-33 the story is told how that Peter walked on the water with the Lord Jesus, but when Peter saw the wind he got afraid and began to sink. In verse 31 it says that Jesus immediately reached out His hand and caught Peter, and instantly lifted him back up to again walk on top of the waves with Him. To me, the entire Gospel is summed up in that incident. When we fall, Jesus is right there to immediately take our hand and lift us back up on top of the waves and walk with Him again. No hesitation. No saying, “Are you sure? Are you really and truly sorry? Do you really mean it? Here’s a list of your sins, and I’m not sure I can believe you now.” – While we are bobbing our heads up and down out of the water, hardly able to breathe, dying. That’s the attitude of most in the church. Someone gets saved, but people are oh so ready to continue to remind them and everyone else of that person’s sins. What’s the purpose of salvation, if it doesn’t include deliverance? Salvation is a turning away from sin and a turning to Jesus. So often people talk about generational curses. But the blood of Jesus came to reverse those curses, so that we no longer have to walk in the cursed ways of past generations. (Galatians 3:13-14) It’s so amazing to me that, in just three years of His life, Jesus did so many miracles. Yet He promises that we can do greater things than what we saw Him do. I would guess that to mean greater in number, not better. Just saying. After all, He was/is Jesus. Having ministered in many places in the past 22 years of my own personal ministry, including schools of ministry, I’ve seen many who have such great expectations of the ministry they hope to accomplish. Yet many do not ever step beyond their dreams. They spend their lives learning, learning, learning, yet rarely doing. I don’t understand why. So many times people will say they are “waiting on the Lord” for a clear message on what to do and where to go. Yet they could tell you in a heartbeat what the dream or vision in their heart is of what they’d like to accomplish. I told one lady that if she kept saying she was waiting on the Lord but died never doing anything that I’d buy her tombstone and put on it. “She waited on the Lord…so He came and got her.” It’s funny but yet it’s not. There are multitudes of people we have the opportunity to reach every day of our lives, if we will use them. Jesus described true ministry in Matthew 25:35-40 as visiting those who are sick or in prison, giving water, food, or clothing, or providing shelter for those in need. How hard is that? You don’t need a Bible degree or ordination for that. Just a heart of compassion. Love. And since God is love, that shouldn’t be so difficult for us to muster that up. I have a son that became a drug addict and ended up in prison for seven years. The only person that ever went to visit him was me for most of that time. Once another friend went with me. Many people spoke against and condemned him though. Some said they “loved” and “prayed for him.” But guess what? They never even wrote to him. And I’m talking about spirit filled believers. Even minister friends of mine that were in the same area where he was incarcerated for a period of time. But not even a letter from others. I see many people running from people that have needs, or making fun of, or condemning them. I personally have experienced people saying to me, “Why do so many things happen to you? You must have an open door of some type in your life.” But if it was them that was going through something, the story is different. They are “under attack” because of their great anointing. Uh, http://yeah….Let’s/ leave that there. What on earth is the life of Jesus about? Is it about having huge buildings and big named preachers that we serve with five star hotels and first class airplane tickets? Or is it about doing the will of the Father in Heaven? Of being “Jesus with hands on” to those we come across in life. Which one do you think would bring a sinner to salvation? I’m not at all against church buildings or church services. But if all we do is sit inside of them, how will anyone else get saved? I’m so thankful that there are many churches across America who are raising up their people to go outside of the church building and DO the true works of the cross. The things Jesus said to do. To reach out to others to pray for and prophesy over them. To heal the sick and see the oppressed set free. But we need many more to do so. There is a lost and dying world out there that needs help. What will it cost you? Well that’s up to you. You can volunteer for an hour a week, or commit your entire life to it. But I promise you, the rewards in your own heart and life will be enriched beyond measure if you choose to reach out instead of continue to let the enemy make you look inside of you and inside of your problems. There’s something about the law of reciprocity that, when we give – time, money, whatever – so much more comes back to us. The life of Jesus emulates the love of God. When we allow ourselves to reach out to others in the love He has given to us, Jesus tells us that it’s the same as if we did it for Him. (Matt. 25:40) When I’ve felt my absolute worst, have been in my most terrible wilderness, have had my greatest needs, felt at the very lowest point possible, is often when God has used me to be the most effective I’ve ever been. Because you can’t out give Him. And when you give out of what you need – even in the area of love – it comes back many fold more. For it’s not by our own might or power, but by His Spirit. It's the Jesus Factor. I call that “the Jesus factor.” His name, His love, His Word, and His life changes everything. Every knee in heaven and earth must bow to it. And doing what Jesus would do will change the outcome of every life that is touched by it. So I challenge you today to DO “something.” Give a word of encouragement. Or as you are doing your spring cleaning, ask the Lord what you could give away to someone who may need or appreciate and be blessed by that item. Or perhaps, the next time you go through McDonald’s, grab an extra bag of dollar menu burgers and fries and deliver it to that homeless person you just saw pushing that cart of their belongings down the street. Or if you don’t even leave home, write a hand written note to that person you know of who is sick or in prison and say a prayer for them. There may be much going on in your life, but we all have the chance to do something to touch on and change the life of others. And when we do, we will experience the Jesus factor in our own life. Tears were filling my heart, out of my eyes they were close an overflow. The Lord had brought me into the deep waters of faith, a place where I had never been before. Like a trustful child, I stepped in, putting my life in His hands and trusting in His Word. There was nothing left to hold onto, in these deep waters. Everything in my life depended on this moment, a miracle was my only hope.
What God had promised was lingering by a thread, events were threatening to take it all away. The destruction of this loss was more than I could hold, my dreams were in a place of fading away. In these deep faith waters, I had journeyed into the fiery testing of my faith. On the altar, I had been a burnt offering, my faith was being tested by the heat of the flame. To bring forth the treasures of gold, out of this earthen vessel of clay. Only this time, my faith was being tested on who I believed God to be for me. My life depended on His character to be generous, good and full of love. I depended on His kindness and His power to supply. Only a miracle could help me now. There was no logical way for me to get to my destination, I had reached a dead end. For the first time ever, the only way that I could move forward was by the arm of my Heavenly Father being revealed. I had to believe that He was truly mindful of me, that He did not lead me into the deep to watch me drown. As my deadline was quickly approaching, emotions became a storm around me. Trying to resist a negative outcome, I leaned heavily upon my anchor of hope. The waves of the possible negative outcome, kept crashing against my heart. The pressure was becoming more than I could handle and finally I hit my knees. Tears poured out of my eyes, like waterfalls, they ran down my cheeks. I could no longer stand the pressure, my heart was broken, in this place of finding the end of me. There was nothing I could do to help myself, my only hope was in the Lord to help in my time of need. “Give it to me”, I heard Him say. I listened as I sat there in agony, as He continued to speak, “Let it go, surrender all to me. Let it be an offering of faith from a willing heart to believe. Take a deep breath and let it all go, even if it means, losing this promise that you have received. I am Love and there is no fear in me. No one knows you better than Me, can you trust in My plan? "By this your faith is confirmed, to know that I am Good. I will help you, My plans are better than your own. What I have planned for you will be bigger than you can believe. Rest in My love as your Father, come lay your burden down. The flames will not touch you, I will teach you to sleep in every storm. You will learn how to rest in the deep. "I will provide for you, My love will always remain. I am a shield to those who trust in Me, I will not disappoint you and you will not be put to shame. Let yourself yield to My plans, like a windmill, let me blow through you. It is easy, as you lay yourself down and rest in my plan. "Now I know that you fear me, because you have given me your heart. Trusting was the purpose of my plan. I will not lead you, where I have not provided first, I have planted blessings along the way. Lift your eyes and look up, even at the last minute, and you will see how I move. I will not forsake you. I am teaching you to know Me, to put your faith in My character and intentional love. The most important thing in your life, is who you believe that I AM. "Follow me, in complete surrender. Change is coming, suddenly, I will turn things around. "I am never failing, put your faith in me. Give me every worry, lay down and say ‘Thy will be done”. The testing of your faith, is the testing of who you believe me to be. I Am what you have been seeking all along, let your confidence be in me. "The test is to know who I am in your heart. Be still and rest in my goodness. Lay down and rest in my love. No matter which way the wind blows, I will work it out for your good. My provision will be better than you expected, with My favor I have vowed to you. "My wind blows through your heart, Testing My Word, Like heat in the furnace, My Promise will come out as Gold. "You are not alone, Carry no more burdens, But come and rest, In who I AM. "The water currents are in My hand, I speak the the streams and show them where to go. As the seasons change, The wind blows, "The leaves know where to fall. Nothing escapes my knowledge, I Am the God who sees all. "I will bring the expectation of your hope, Surrender all that you have to me. Lana Vawser March 27, 2017 I felt the Lord saying "The weather forecast has changed - it is rain, rain, rain!!"
I kept thinking of the story in 1 Kings 18:45, where Elijah says to his servant, "Can you hear the sound of rain?" Elijah's servant checks 7 times for rain at Elijah's instruction. On the seventh time, he sees the cloud the size of a man's hand rising out of the sea. The Lord has been declaring breakthrough is coming, He has been declaring "can you hear the sound of rain?", and He is now declaring the weather forecast has changed - it is rain, rain, rain! Many have been wondering when the darkness will shift, when the pressure will ease, when the shift will begin. The shift has begun! The decree has been made and here comes the rain! All the seeds you have sowed, all the prayers, declarations, steps of obedience, sacrifice, and the positioning of your seeds has not been for nothing. The rain of His Spirit is falling upon the seeds you have planted and bursting forth are the first fruits of breakthrough! The rain of the Holy Spirit is not only bringing breakthrough, but rejuvenation, refreshing, awakening, healing, strengthening and increasing. Don't listen to the 'weather forecast' of the enemy, that dark skies remain and you're not moving. It's a lie! God is moving and breakthrough is breaking out! The sun is shining and it is starting to RAIN, RAIN, RAIN! As His rain falls upon you, EVERYTHING will change. As His rain falls upon you, JOY will be restored. As His rain falls upon you, mud and scales that have been on eyes will fall off. As His rain falls upon you, broken hearts will be healed. As His rain falls upon you, fear and dread will melt away and the soothing, life giving, refreshing touch of His love will bring you back to life. The enemy is screaming his weather forecast but it is a lie! The sun is breaking through the clouds and it's starting to rain!! His rain is going to increase and continue to increase! It's not a few drops, it is a DOWNPOUR! The rain of His Spirit, the DOWNPOUR that's coming will shift and catapult you into a COMPLETELY NEW PLACE in Him, where breakthrough will abound ALL AROUND! Life, life, life! You haven't been sowing and contending for nothing! Your seeds are in position and the rain of His Spirit is bringing those seeds to life!!!!! Here it is, the cloud the size of a man's hand rising out of the sea, ushering in the greatest downpour of His rain you have EVER seen! This DOWNPOUR will not only affect you, but your family, your friends, your cities and your nation. What God is doing is BIGGER than you could imagine! The rain is falling accompanied with the WINDS OF CHANGE! No need for umbrellas, get your Holy Ghost gumboots on, because you are going to be dancing in the rain of His Spirit with pure joy and peace like a child. You are going to dance in the rain with a loud song of victory!!! Don’t rest on that level of Glory that you are in right now for I want to take you HIGHER. It is Time, if you are listening now, to FLY! Fling your wings wide and I will hold you up with my wind and I will direct you. See, it is not a familiar path for you to travel on that is why you feel afraid, uncertain, questioning things and not knowing what to do with it all. I understand my child, for it is a New Thing that you didn’t know before. A New Path. New Levels of Glory. God Is Doing So Much While You Sleep…Overnight Miracles! Lana Vawser March 23, 2017 I had a dream a few weeks ago and the Lord spoke to me that sleep is KEY right now! Since that dream I have seen sensing the Lord is doing a deep work in the hearts, souls and minds of His people as they sleep. He is reaching the deepest depths of hearts and souls with His love and bringing deep refreshing, healing and restoration. Many deep roots that have plagued, tormented and caused God’s people pain and anguish will be removed by His love as they go to bed at night and sleep!
I had a vision where I saw Jesus working on the minds of His people like a brain surgeon while they were sleeping. He was removing trauma, healing past memories, and the Word of God that had been stored into their hearts and used to renew their minds during the day, I saw the Lord breathing upon as they slept and it brought freedom, clarity and mental ease and peace, rather than torment. Many were going to bed one night sick, waking up the next morning – HEALED! MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING IN THE NIGHT!!!! As the Lord was doing the deep works in the depths of His people as they slept, I saw chains breaking through the night. When they awoke in the morning, they felt so free, such joy, a great shift had taken place that filled them with the sense that “something changed overnight”. This is the season where things are LITERALLY CHANGING OVERNIGHT! Things you have been contending for and contending for to see them shift and break open, will be released OVERNIGHT! God is releasing OVERNIGHT MIRACLES! Everywhere I have been ministering lately, the Lord has had me call out sleep issues, insomnia, night terrors, sleep apnea… anything attacking the sleep of His people and God has been bringing healing and deliverance . The Lord is breaking the chains that have stolen sleep and in its place there is and will continue to be an increase of prophetic dreams. Prophetic dreams are going to continue to increase in this season in ways we have never seen. The Lord is and will continue to heal, deliver, restore and renew His people in significant ways as they sleep. Things that have held His people for decades; will suddenly be broken. God is doing more while you sleep than you realise. Clarity, insight, direction and breakthrough is being released especially through prophetic dreams. I prophesy over you today that some HUGE breakthroughs are happening and will continue to manifest in your life AS YOU SLEEP! I decree all sleep issues and anything attacking your sleep is being broken off and healed in Jesus name. I declare over you that God is doing MORE in you and for you than you realise, while you sleep. I decree an INCREASE of prophetic dreams and awareness of what Jesus is doing in and for you while you sleep in Jesus name. I decree over you a season of OVERNIGHT MIRACLES in Jesus name!!!! A Mighty Rushing Wind Elaine Tavolacci March 22, 2017 In the book of Acts chapter two we read about the day of Pentecost when the disciples were in the Upper Room in one accord, and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. They were so intoxicated with the glory of God that some of the onlookers thought that they were literally drunk with wine. Peter went on to say, these men are not drunk as you suppose, and he quoted the prophecy from the book of Joel 2:28-32.
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4) In the book of Acts chapter four Peter and John were thrown into prison because they were speaking about Jesus being resurrected from the dead. A revival broke out in the prison and many were healed. They were brought before the elders, the scribes and the high priests. After witnessing many miracles, they asked Peter and John, by what power or by what name have you done this? Then Peter filled with the Holy Ghost told them that it was by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who was crucified, and God raised from the dead. When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. They realized that peter and John had been with Jesus. Although Peter and John were threatened and told not to speak in Jesus’ name, they were so consumed with His glory that they continued to speak about His miraculous power. They prayed, and asked the Lord for boldness, to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Jesus. As they were praying, the building where they were assembled literally shook and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness. “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:29-31) The Lord says, “The winds are stirring once again, and I Am releasing a mighty wind of My glory to transform lives ‘suddenly.’ Multitudes will be brought into the Kingdom for such a time as this. Many will be healed, captives will be delivered and set free, and many will be brought into repentance. Just as the plates are shifting under the seas causing earthquakes of great magnitudes, there is a shift happening simultaneously in the heavenlies. I Am stirring the atmosphere to bring change to the Church as you know it. Angelic activity is being released from the third Heaven that no man can stop or reverse. Do not judge things by what you see happening in the natural, but watch what I Am about to do. I Am El Shaddai and I am sending a tsunami of My glory over the nations. “Just as the winds are blowing in the natural, I Am about to send a mighty rushing wind across this nation and around the world. Just as the winds came ‘suddenly’ in the upper room, I Am sending My Glory to revamp things in the natural. That which I intended for in these last days shall be accomplished. There will be a great acceleration in the lives and hearts of people. I will bring times of refreshing in times of drought. I will bring light to areas where darkness seems to prevail. I Am sending the latter and the former rains. Do not become fearful when you see the dark clouds but rejoice. It is the dark clouds that carry the heavy rain. This is where My glory dwells and My Anointing will be released. Seventeen years ago, I was attending Francis Frangipane's church in Cedar Rapids, IA and I remember distinctly a life-changing encounter with God I had there. As I lay on the floor of the church, I was overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit and could not control my sobbing. God was showing me His heart for women and it was then I saw the rough outline of a woman's movement that would LITERALLY catapult the church into the greatest harvest it's ever known, a harvest so substantial it would dwarf any previous revivals by millions. Then I realized why the enemy has tried so hard to keep women from the labor fields of revival. Satan will do or SAY anything to keep the elements of this harvest from coming together. Recently, a movement of women has risen up, but it was not of God. For someone like me, it felt like a big thug in the stomach and I feared it would turn people against women in ministry even further. But God said, "This is only a counterfeit movement to try and deter the real movement of God among women that IS COMING!" Satan can't stop what's coming, he can only try to keep as many people as he can from receiving it; that's what he's been working so hard at. Understand this: the things the enemy fears the most is what he works the hardest to defeat, but God laughs at the workings of the enemy and He uses those things the enemy meant for our destruction to boost levels of effectiveness for Him. Years ago, as I wrote my book, God's Magnum Opus: The Value of a Woman, I felt the Lord release me to start a ministry geared on raising up women in ministry and giving them a platform to affect the kingdom. My oldest daughter, Cassandra, and I worked hard to release the ministry and book around the same time. Indeed, Women of Impact Ministries was birth out of the teaching I wrote in response to the struggles Cassandra and I had years ago of how the enemy tried to destroy her life by subverting the calling of God on her. The Biblical study God gave me then to save her was the basis for what Women of Impact is all about - teaching women the truth about WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST! When I think about how much God loves His daughters, I literally feel overwhelmed by heaven! As if Papa God was downloading a portion of His heart towards His girls into my heart, I suddenly realize that we, as women, do NOT yet fully understand what He really thinks of us - what He's created us for and the passionate love He feels for us. Our world has been permeated with the lies of the enemy since the fall of mankind, but Jesus came to bring a REVOLUTION to the earth. Indeed, the Word says He came to bring a fire to the earth to destroy every lie the enemy's created. Indeed, any way of thinking that does not line up with His truth IS worthless. It has no lasting value and will produce no fruit. As women, we need to find out the truth of what God thinks of us! Since 2004, I've been preaching the message of liberty for women and it has not been easy. And for as many years, I've prayed for God to raise up an army of women to fight for this world and especially the harvest. Yet, in the last few years, I've seen God shift things in the spirit-realm and now I see a great company of women shooting lights of truth into the darkness - truly a great army is emerging! All over the world, God is raising up multitudes of women who've been united by the Holy Spirit's plans to coincide with the deliverance of women to know who they are in Christ. Validating and encouraging women everywhere, we are seeing an arming arising from even unexpected places across the earth. This was NOT an accident! No! It was prophesied many years ago, in Joel 2:28, in Psalm 68:11 and many more. We are living what our ancestors only dreamt would eventually come to pass. The harvest is VERY ripe and we need ALL our laborers in the fields to gather it in. Like Joel said, "My sons AND DAUGHTERS will prophesy... in the last days." Yet, there are still many many women in bondage all over the world. Their chains are not necessarily physical, but chains of oppressive lies the enemy has sown into the consciousness of women through the centuries. Since I have see the Father's reality, the cultural bias, and twisted religious doctrines used to train women to think of themselves as less valuable or unusable to God seem outrageous to me and are NOT TRUE! If you were the heavenly Father, whose love for His daughters knew NO BOUNDS, would you be upset if someone was trying to convince your little girls that you didn't love them as much as you do your sons? I think I would be very upset and I would want the truth to be told. I would want all my children to know the truth of my love for them. Love for my heavenly Father has driven me, to fight for His truth to be told to His daughters, so they will know He is, indeed, a good, kind, loving Father. And they are as much heirs to His incredible kingdom as His sons. \ Truly, in the twelve plus years I've been teaching about God's value of women, I've not had many men fight with me over the truths I present. No, men have even encouraged me to keep it up and spread the message to both men and women. Sadly, it's been women who've had trouble receiving the truth about what God says about them. Yes, women have struggled to receive the truth even when shown plainly in scriptures. As though a veil hangs over their eyes, they still cling to the lies that tell them it is not godly to think of yourself as created in the Image of God. Wanting to hold on to even just a slight distinction that they believe God created between themselves and men, they struggle to accept the truth about who they were created to be. This is our great battle and, truly, it seems to be consuming at times. I want women to be free, because I know what it feels like to think this way. It took years of study and receiving revelation from the Holy Spirit through the Scriptures for me to really believe what I was receiving from the Word of God. When I really examined the fruit of what this divisive teaching has produce, only then did I see that this cannot be what God designed for humanity. I realize then why Jesus had to come and bring a fire to this earth - to burn up the remnants of the enemy's lies against the daughters of Eve and liberate the kingdom of God to bring in the last day harvest! For truly, I saw the house of the Lord would not be WHOLE until women were raised up to serve in it as God intended. The Lord is moving across the earth, raising an army of men and women who will become His fire starters! Women of Impact Ministries is only ONE battalion in the great emerging army! HOPE is Key in This Season! The enemy of our soul has launched targeted attacks in the very areas that we have been contending for. But this is a wonderful opportunity for us to overcome to the glory of God! Now more than ever, we should keep our gaze on Jesus Christ rather than on what the enemy is doing. Don't give up! Hold on to hope! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Choose to align with HOPE, not fear! What you behold is what you will become—look to the heavens, not earth nor Hell. When the battle intensifies is when victory is greatest. Victory is at hand. "Then he said, 'Take the arrows,' and the king took them. Elisha told him, 'Strike the ground.' He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, 'You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.'" (2 Kings 13:18-19) Breakthrough IS Coming: Keep Striking the Ground! Do not be discouraged if at first you don't see your victory manifest. Breakthrough will first happen in the spiritual, then in the natural. Just because you can't see it in the physical does not mean it isn't happening in the spiritual. Keep on striking the ground! Fruitfulness is coming upon us, and has already come. What has been barren and withered for so long will begin to revive and flourish. And the good news is? All that you need for breakthrough has already been given to you; it's already there! The Lord has deposited that miracle within you and it will bear fruit as long as we walk in accordance with the principles of the Kingdom. Aligning Your Heart With the Principles of the Kingdom for Victory: Prepare. God has given us the breakthrough! We're to ask God, "What must I do to prepare my heart and life so it is good soil for that seed to bear fruit?" Persist. Stand at your post, don't give up. Keep striking the ground. In the heat of the battle God will give you the strength you'll need to press through, and then you'll break through into victory. He who is faithful with little will be entrusted with more. Praise. Arise, beloved. Come into His presence through an offering of worship. There is a divine exchange waiting to happen. Release what is not of Him (fear, discouragement, greed, pride) for the things that come from His throne (godliness with contentment, wisdom, heavenly strategies). Partner. If we would be willing to humble ourselves, lay down our own agendas/ambitions, and work in partnership with God, these are the tools we will be given in the clash of the kingdoms. a. Influence: He is going to enlarge our territory. New ground. Victory over the length and breadth of the land. And not just enlargement but increased depth in our influence. He will release the authority and anointing to impact our spheres of influence in deep and lasting ways. b. Wisdom and Revelation: We will move in divine understanding. If we would lay aside our human wisdom and plans to take on His, we will begin to move in a higher realm. We will be able to take our places as "seated with Him in heavenly places" (see Ephesians 2:6) and become heavenly administrators of His will on earth. c. Signs and Wonders: There will be an increase in the miracles and shekinah presence of the Lord. These signs and wonders will be signs that make the world wonder, and in wondering they will find God as their answer. Beloved, this is our time. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you! Our Daily Bread Prayers and Rejoice By Faith, Even in the Eye of the Storm! Cindy Jacobs March 19, 2017 As a prophetic intercessor, my regular prayer time usually involves listening to the Holy Spirit and praying what is on His agenda, moment by moment; however, there are a few things I've chosen to pray for every single day. I start my mornings with them and often return to them again before I close my eyes at night.
This list has grown over the years, as I have learned and grown. I hope these prayers will encourage you and impact your heart the way they continue to impact mine. 1. Psalm 91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation." (Psalm 91:1-16; NKJV) Many years ago, as I was writing my book, Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, I studied about the power of praying Psalm 91. I was particularly struck by outstanding stories I read of God's supernatural protection over soldiers as they recited this psalm on the battlefields of World War I and II. According to a few commentators, some Jewish rabbis believe that this psalm was intended to be read in case of demonic attacks. I have embraced their insight and find myself turning to these words every time it feels like the enemy's activity is increasing. Each day, I pray this psalm over my family members by name, over our home, and over our GI staff and their families. I include other people whenever the Lord leads and even extend it to geographic areas at times. Last fall, I was preaching during a time of pretty intense spiritual warfare, but I had become slack in claiming these promises. I ended up falling in Jerusalem and fracturing my foot! It was a sobering reminder to be more diligent, especially in seasons of very important spiritual assignments. 2. The Peace of Jerusalem We are Scripturally commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). In fact, there is a promise that those who do so will be blessed and those who do not will be cursed. The Lord loves this important city and wants all of its inhabitants to be safe and blessed. 3. Power for Miracles and Souls "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8; NKJV) This passage promises the power of the Holy Spirit. One day, it occurred to me that, since I long to see a new level of anointing as I minister, I should pray this verse daily. I definitely saw an increase in power as I was faithful to declare these words. In fact, shortly after I started aggressively pursuing the promise, I was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, ministering to the sick, and powerful creative miracles broke out. Metal rods, pins, and screws were turning to bone, or God was healing people's bodies so they didn't even need the metal anymore. For instance, people with rods down their backs could suddenly bend and touch their toes! You should have seen the look of joy on their faces! 4. The Prayer of Jabez "And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, 'Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!' So God granted him what he requested." (I Chronicles 4:10; NKJV) Years ago, after I read The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkerson, I decided to do my own study on this passage. At first, I had a bit of a hard time praying that God would bless me. It seemed rather self-serving and not very humble, but gradually, I realized that if I was blessed, then I could bless many other people. Perhaps the most noticeable shift in my life from this prayer is the amount of favor I have received. Many doors of influence opened for me worldwide, including significant doors with heads of state. 5. The Power to Get Wealth "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day." (Deuteronomy 8:18; NKJV) Theologically, I always believed this verse was for me; I knew that if I had wealth, then I would be able to help establish God's covenant in the earth. But I had never systematically decreed for Mike and me to receive the power to get wealth. Since this is a promise given to God's people under the Abrahamic covenant, I realized I needed to claim it for my life. I started doing this around six months ago, both personally and for the ministry. Since that time, our staff has been moving on a new level of ideas to release blessings to us. These five prayers are not merely ritual or routine. They have become daily bread—God's promises to sustain me through all times and seasons. I am encouraging you to ask God for your own daily bread! What are the promises of God that you need to claim each and every day? You will be delighted at the new level of authority, favor, protection, and answers you will receive from Him as you faithfully decree His Word over your life! Prophetic Word: Just Rejoice by Faith! This is a prophetic word by Cindy Jacobs about God's will for you to advance: The Lord would say to you, "The enemy is troubling your emotions," and I see right now there's a great swirling around many people, even there's a lot of violence in the heavens where you are and many of you are at a crossroads and you don't know what to do. I want to pray and say, "Peace" in the midst of your storm. I want to decree over you that: I bind those powers of darkness causing confusion. I bind the powers of darkness that are troubling you; and the Lord is saying to you, "I am putting you in the eye of the storm." Even though there's storm clouds all around you, even though there's many decisions that you have to make, the Lord says, "I'm going to give you a fresh spirit of wisdom and revelation. You're going to know what to do." This is the word, Don't panic. Don't think that you're going to go down, because the Lord says, "It is not My will for My children to go down. It is My will for My children to advance." God says, "Speak to those emotions and say to them, 'Be still.' Stand and resist this swirl of oppression around you, for it is coming from the outside, more than the inside." This is an oppression that satan is trying to put on your emotions, but know this, the great I Am, is greater than the enemy's voice. In the name of Jesus, I speak, be still and I forbid you, enemy, in the name of Jesus, from causing so much depression and oppression of people's emotions. Now, this is what you need to do, by faith: Just rejoice. Sometimes I'll get on my piano and I'll just play. I mean, I'll be crazy at times. I might dance around my house. Nobody has seen me dance around my house, right? Whatever it is, so come on, rise up. Tell your soul to hope in God. You're going to have a breakthrough, I'm telling you. Don't doubt it.
